Enjoy thrifting and have gone to 10+ arc locations in Colorado. I like this location because it has a lot of stuff in all sections.Pros: cheap, wide variety, quick turnover of items, good fines especially on their Saturday 50% offCons: thieves are common, staff could be rude, crowded with people and homeless population stay by entrance a lot of the time.I did have a negative experience with one of the staff where she opened the fitting room while changing instead of knocking. Fitting rooms have been unlocked the 3 times I’ve been there

I brought up a blatant and large stain on a pair of pants listed for 10 dollar (overpriced) to the manager Liz... She was extremely rude and disrespectful and almost took it personally that I asked for a discount on the item. I'm always polite and respectful... I'm a disabled combat veteran who was recently street homeless. I don't care how bad of a day you're having. It's not my fault. It seems all of her staff are afraid of her also because of her volatile demeanor. You can find another place to work if you don't like it at Arc, I get that it's not an easy job, especially management but you're going to make it a lot worse for yourself and your subordinates by victimizing your valuable and friendly customers simply because you had a bad day. I would be grateful to have your position/job and I'm sure many others wouldn't hesitate to take your place. Be grateful .. get a therapist if you need one or find a different job.

This review is for the Aurora, Parker road ARC , went in today in business attire and was followed through EVERY SINGLE ISLE I walked through. Not only was the lady hanging items up against my cart in every section, but the security guy followed me with a push broom behind my cart almost touching my feet. Your GHETTO TRASH store is judgmental and absolutely treats customers like theives. SHAME ON YOU PEOPLE !!!

For a donation center no one comes out to help unload and when you ask for help they give you attitude ok so I won't be bringing my donations to you ever again!

Today I went in to get some clothes for my daughter and the shopping experience was great and I found what I was looking for. The reason for the one star review is because of an interaction I saw between a customer and an employee. The customer was a disabled person who was looking through the pre-packaged bags. When the employee approached him I thought she was simply going to remind him that they were not meant to be open and are supposed to be bought whole. That is not at all what happened. She approached the gentleman and very rudely told him that he needed to stop because then they "can't sell the items" and it makes it "harder for them". The gentleman responded by apologizing and letting her know he was willing to pay for it since he made a mistake he was unaware of. The employee then proceeded to tell the man that they can't sell things if he keeps doing that and that she will have to call the supervisor on him. The poor gentleman ended up just setting everything down and walking out the store because he felt uncomfortable around her. I did not believe that she handled that in a professional manner. I asked other customers around me if they had noticed the interaction to verify that I heard everything properly and they also expressed they felt uncomfortable by her and did not feel that she was kind in the situation. I took it upon myself to ask if she worked there because she was standing in line holding food and on her phone. She told me that she did in fact work there and I asked if she was the manager/supervisor and she told me no. She then proceeded to ask me why and I told her that I had seen the interaction with this customer and that I would like her name to speak to the manager. She told me that she would speak to the manager herself. I told her I would rather do it and if I could please have her name. She responded with " I am done with this conversation."I ended up speaking to one of the supervisors up front who was amazing and listened attentively. She reassured me that she would look into it and thanked me for letting her know.

Very disappointed I’ve been donating and supporting this store 10 plus year. Tried to return a dress 5 days after buying it with tag and receipt and they talking about that’s Tag is on wrong they can’t return. The cashier stated me as I am a thief and all together very unpleasant experience!!!

The employee I spoke to was rude and condescending because I was there to donate clothes. I didn't need any donation tags, or help getting the clothes out of my car. Don't worry. I will take my stuff somewhere else and won't be shopping at ARC either.

You've lost your mind! $250 for a basic marble chess set that sells brand new for $100 or less. This was DONATED with the hopes that you'd sell this for the support you supposedly give to those with disabilities but I guess your CEO's salary of 500k a year isn't enough. Please change your name to ARC Steep Boutique because you certainly aren't a thrift store anymore. Be better!

This place was ok but latley, they must let the employees that price stuff smoke meth and or crack before the put extremely high prices on the tags.ive been seeing thing sit on the shelves till it gets thrown away because people don't want to pay new retail for used stuff. They think they are pawn stars and every item they get in is a collectible.

Great selection! They had a large selection of clothing items and housewares. There were lots of men’s button downs, which is exactly what I was looking for. There’s good parking and a lot of places around there if you have errands.

Used to be a decent chain, but greed always gets the best of them. Always ask to round up for children with disabilities but when I ask how to get some of those funds for my child with disabilities , it’s always a blank stare and no info on how to get access. Pretty scammy considering the prices they charge as well. Lots of ego , which is interesting considering they sell free stuff donated by good people , such as myself. Hate to see my things treated like this, then sold at a premium (if it ever makes it to the shelves) to people who theoretically can’t afford to buy new.

While I was shopping today, I had a basket full of stuff, about an hour into it, the store supervisor walked up to me, I think his name was Devin? And told me he recognizes me as someone before who was stealing and asked me to leave the him as a supervisor. How embarrassing to walk up to me and publicly call me a thief in front of other customers. I hadn’t been to this store in over a year. I moved to Golden, 6 months ago and before that I lived in Englewood for 2.5 years. I’ve been to every Arc thrift store in Colorado. From CO springs and Pueblo and all the rest. I’m a reseller, so I’m always on the hunt for new items to resell. I have never in my 44 years of life had an employee of where I’m shopping come up to me in that manner. I have $923 dollars in my pocket right now. And they want to say I have stolen these before. I showed him my vigils a Cadillac Escalade and told him I have almost $1000 in my pocket, and he said “you drive a nicer car than me” but yet I’m known as a thief now in that store. This is totally out of line and rude to say the least. I’m appalled by the actions of this supervisor. I won’t be spending anymore money at this Arc store. Very bad experience.

I am in total shock with the pricing here. Who ever does the pricing is overdoing it. I can get new dress at ross for a cheaper price than used ones here! I liked coming but the prices are getting out of hand dresses that arent even fancy just cotton for 16 18 dollers. Ross carries name brand from Macy's for 14.99?!?! Way overpriced.

Quite a number of items from a multi cultural donation pool . As far as potentially getting a great deal will be dependent on staff or CFO waking up or realizing that the prices set are sometimes more than their original set price from the store when manufactured. It's seems to be trending in all the chain thrift stores so I encourage everyone tio forget to pay as much as possible only because non profit or profit alike these thrift stores are ripping low to lower income customers off, especially if that customer donates to them.
