Good area to visit Maroon Bells. The tour bus to the Bells was very informative, with good sightseeing along the way. Really enjoyed the visit watching Deer Roam nearby. The snow is on the ground on June 3rd. The snow topped mountains are beautiful. The walking trails are well marked easy to access. Clean environment and good mountain air.
Restrooms and handi cap accessible.

This was our first time and it was very beautiful. Their staff are very kind, and efficient. The whole inside was very clean as well. The process of getting the tickets was very easy as well. The bus ride was very good, and informative. The final destination (Maroon Bells) was very picturesque. It has many trails for you to go to, as well as some stunning views. The walk to the main part, where the lake is, is not far at all from the bus stop, so it was very nice. Overall, a very good experience and we will definitely come back if we are here!

Thanks to the staff at front counter to accommodate us in the next available bus, as we missed our actual reservation.

I just got back from seeing beautiful Fall colors! This was my first time visiting Maroon Bells and I was very much excited. I bought the shuttle bus ticket and with it came the instructions which stated to arrived 45 mins early. I made sure i was there before my scheduled time which was 9:30am. I parked my car and headed to get my boarding pass. The guy at the front was very kind enough to offer me if I would like to go ahead and catch the early bus and I happily said yes. He explained that I had to stand on the Standby line. Lucky me I was able to catch 8am bus and had early start to my trip. The space was less crowded in the morning which was a blessing. I got to take my picture, took some landscape shot and then I hiked to the crater lake.My experience here was worth the early drive! I just wish they would decrease the price of parking to maybe $25 instead of $40.

Peter does his best to ruin your experience. Unhelpful and extremely rude, Peter makes sure that you know he hates working there. He really is one bad apple but management seems to think it's a good idea to have him interacting with customers.

Great place to visit. Well organized process with tickets, transportation and the Rangers answering questions was nice too. The bus driver was funny and made trip up more fun.

Talus field could be a problem for folks over 55. I'm 67 and the avalanche fields near Maroon Lake had trail rubble and required hiking poles. My party finished 12 miles over Maroon Pass. You MUST carry at LEAST 1 liter of electrolyte water with extra bottles for a warm day. Trail is 4 Star.

Purchased tickets for the 9:30 bus. Got there at the recommended 45 minutes ahead of time. Took 5 minutes to park and get tickets, and then we were told we could get in the early line. The line was already around the building, so we got coffee instead. Got in line at 9 and waited, and were told buses only leave every 30 minutes. So at 9:15 we abandoned the early line and got in the standard 9:30 line. At that point they let the entire early line into a bus that had been sitting there for 10 minutes idling. Moral of the story is they want you to get there early so you pay an extra $5 in parking and then spend even more getting coffee just so you end up leaving at the same time anyway. Complete and total racket.
