BEWARE THEY ARE SELLING NEW BOOTS THAT ARE USED. PAIR I GOT LOOKED LIKE SOMEONE WENT ROCK CLIMBING IN THEM. SOLD THEM AS NEW BOOTS. THESE BOOTS HAVE BEEN WALKED IN A LOT. I OWN DISTRESSED BOOTS. THESE ARE USED.. GOOD ANSWER THO.. BUT BS. YOU SAID WHEN I CALLED THEY WERE TRYED ON AT THE STORE THAT WHY THE MARKS.. NOW YOU SAY IT IS DISTRESSING... WHICH ONE IS IT....Dale USMC

What's that long line down Galena Street? That's folks waiting to get into Kemo Sabe, currently THE hottest retail shop in downtown core Aspen.
At least you can sit on the homemade bench made from an old Chevrolet truck outside the front door before you can set food in the shop.
The store is high-end (the only retail allowed in Aspen. Really) western wear: hats, boots, belts, buckles, turquoise jewelry.
But the Rocky Mountain-high prices are justified. Kemo Sabe explains it takes 150 steps to make one pair of boots. And they are gorgeous.
Shopping at Kemo Sabe is an experience. The staff is young, good lookin' and knowledgeable. They take the time to make you feel important. They want to know what you want so they can find it for you. After all, their moto is "Helping you find your swagger."
You can customize your own hat or boots right there.
Upstairs there is a private event space. Gaudy and oh so Texas (I spent 24 years in Dallas so I know.)
We fossils who grew up on watching The Lone Ranger on the telly know Tonto called the Lone Ranger Kemo Sabe, or faithful friend. You're welcome

I was really disappointed to hear the Vegas location closed, but I also found out about the Kemo Sabe Roadhouse and how amazing the people there are. I'm really glad to say that Kennedy is a treasure and goes above and beyond to make the experience even more special.

Love the selection of boots and William Henry products and would love to buy both, but it is so obnoxious with the loud music I can't really communicate with your sales staff. I have asked them if they would please turn it down a bit and they ignore my request and walk away. I guess the noise is more important than the money.

We asked to try on a specific hat and were given one that was "more accessible". We probably would have bought something if they weren't so busy hosting a bachelorette party.

I always have a great time at Kemo Sabe Aspen. I had an amazing experience this time with both Victoria one day and then Jackson on the next day. They’re both so friendly and so creative I can’t wait to wear my hats back home! Definitely worth the hustle and bustle in the store. You really feel like you’re with friends. Thanks to both of you!
