“My mom and I stumbled upon her storefront in Basalt and we both ended up getting something! I found a unique estate piece from the late 1800s that she repurposed into a ring and I love that it is so unique. It makes it even more special knowing I’ll have it forever and remember where I bought it. Definitely a long time customer if I ever need a handcrafted piece!!!”

“I really appreciated all of my dealings with Mike, the owner of the shop. He was honest and forthright and did his very best to ensure that my wife and I were happy with our purchases. Communications with him were at a high level, which I really appreciate. Of course, the shop itself is filled with all kinds of amazing treasurers and antiquities. It's truly a unique place and one that I will be revisiting when I'm back in Aspen in 2025 for my next conference. The things you can purchase here can't be found anywhere else. “If you are looking for sophisticated and stylish women's clothing, don't hesitate to shop at Four One Nine in Aspen. The owner, Kristin, is so helpful and patient, and so is Marie, who works part-time. Kristin carries a good selection of Rachel Comey (one of my favorite brands) and many other brands as well that you won't find anywhere else in Aspen, including some local designers. Excellent hand bags, shoes, jewelry, and accessories too. My friend and I bought several pieces on our trip to Aspen and will be checking the website regularly. It will be a must stop the next time I am in Aspen.”

Then when it was somehow lost in the mail she sent another at no charge AND some beautiful earrings, all free of charge, for the inconvenience. 10/10 would go back there next time I’m in Aspen! “I never write reviews. But Rosie who helped my girlfriend and I was honestly the most thoughtful, caring and helpful associate I’ve ever dealt with in my life. Realize first I’m a man so subtly picking up on my gf wanting gifts is not my strong suit. We left without a bracelet she clearly wanted. After some deep thought and a glass of tequila I texted Rosie and told her I needed to get this bracelet asap. But I’d be leaving Aspen prior to them opening. She literally went to the store early the next morning, gifted it all up and delivered it as a surprise during our breakfast in downtown Aspen (a half hour before they even opened). When she came in and walked over my girlfriend immediately started crying. Rosie made her day and honestly was the best person about all of it. A++++++”
“I love this store and Joseph the proprietor. I purchased a stone bracelet and a few weeks later the elastic was compromised. I contacted Joseph and he immediately sent me a replacement. Great customer service and a wonderful store to shop in while in Aspen. Highly recommended!!”

“While visiting Aspen with my daughter we decided to stop in to see what they had available. My daughter found some vintage Levi’s- 2 pairs, a super cute pair of greige pants by Kenneth Cole and super cute fall button up and long cardigan. It was a score in our book. Staff on site was super helpful and just an all around nice experience. Based on what we paid for all, I think they were fairly priced. We will be back next time we are in Aspen!”
