vehicle. Spark plugs needed to be replaced, and plug cylinders needed cleaning. Once again the team completed a thorough inspection of the vehicle. The Odyssey had an oil leak that has been difficult to find. The team at Bending Wrenches endured the mystery leak until they added a “dye” to the most recent oil change. Thankfully, the dye worked; the elusive leak was discovered, repaired and the Odyssey continues her journey with 237 K. Thanks to the entire team at Bending Wrenches. I went in for breaks and not only was that done fast and affordably he had also pointed out the problem I’ve been curious about and was unsure of (being a broken wheel bearing) He then pointed out and showed me exactly where the problem was, how to confirm that problem, explained what would happen if not fixed and then fixed the bearing in an impressive amount of time. My car drives and feels much better now, these guys go above and beyond what you normally see now of days with anywhere let alone the automotive industry. “The staff here are very kind and attentive to addressing needs. They took care of my cars problems and fixed them quickly and even stayed over hours to wrap up the job before the weekend. Kudos to them and their diligence. I also appreciate Christian Bros' text message update feature that provides owners with basic diagnostic overviews followed by pictures and action items. I do wish they would do this for all subsequent problems and not just the initial diagnostic.While I have praise for the local staff, I understand when a company becomes as big as they are and more franchising dilutes the core quality that made the company great, you start to get into some questionable business practices and you lose the quality and turn more into the quantity of dollars collected from customers. During my diagnostics, I was solicited over 8+ services, half of which were reasonable considering the mileage on my car (150k+), while the others were slightly exaggerated in my opinion. The one service suggestion that I wasn't convinced of was the battery replacement recommended for a battery I purchased less than 4 months ago. After the diagnostics from CB, I took my battery to TWO different auto parts stores and each tested my battery and said it was in great shape, despite Christian Bros' replacement rec because of low cold cranking amps. Each of the store testers I spoke with did not have very good things to say about Christian Bros' as a whole after showing them the diagnostic image.While I appreciate the recommendations and thorough review of my vehicle, I also understand that owners need to take responsibility for keeping track of their repairs and maintenance to avoid being overcharged for things that may not be completely necessary. There's a fine line that is sometimes hard to distinguish from preventative services versus absolute needs services.Thank you for taking the time and care to fix my car.”

“This small, locally owned family business has been taking care of multiple used cars for me since they bought the shop. It was trustworthy before, and work was well done, but since Mike and his family and employees have been running it, it has gotten better every time I go back. They source high quality NAPA parts, and make excellent recommendations for other aftermarket fitments if desired, like the roadmaster active suspension they recommended and installed for superior trailer control when towing. The staff treat you like family, the estimates are done quick, the thorough inspection they give every time a car rolls in has always provided benefit, and they make only reasonable recommendations about what is urgent, and what can wait a while. They always await confirmation of estimate and services you want done prior to proceeding and the agreed upon work is done right, 1st time, every time. It is always as timely as parts availability will allow, which is quite quickly 99% of the time. I love this place for their service and attitude, they are also involved in the community in one way or another all the time. There seems to always be a food, clothing or needy family drive or a veterans, firefighters, or law enforcement benefit drive going on. I'm proud to tell people about the work they do on my vehicles and the service and treatment they give me when they do. AAA+++ all the time, in every way. You can TRUST L&R Automotive.
