Today I called and spoke with a woman named Natalie I believe. Had questions about different driveshaft options for my charger, shortly after telling her that I was considering converting to a one piece or if I need a custom one built, she tried to direct me to another shop out of California. Even though they claim to build driveshafts. Getting her to understand that my driveshaft is not the original (which is indeed not serviceable.) and my aftermarket one from dorman...yuck... does have a serviceable carrier and therefore can be split and upgraded, was very difficult and by that time she was clearly annoyed with me. So I asked to speak to someone else and she refused to do so. Then she just told me that I can drive all the way to Arvada for a maybe. She would not look up the part number for the existing shaft to tell me wether it's something they can do and made it very obvious that she wanted off the phone and was not interested in making any money today.
I've been a mechanic for 10 years and I've been sending this company business for a very long time. But that will not continue. I have never experienced a call like this with them.
Also last week I emailed them off their site. Filling out all the fields of information they need to build a quote and never heard back which is why I called in the first place. I do not know what's going on over there but it's very disappointing.
If someone from the company reads this and wants to work with me, I am so happy to do so. But as it stands me and my shops relationship with rocky mountain drive line is done.
I've attached a photo of the center section of the shaft currently installed. As you can see it does split in the middle. All I wanted was new high velocity joints, a stiffer carrier, and a high speed balance.
If this truly can't be worked on I'd still love to hear back from you guys.

Greeted at the door by Scott (Owner), he looked at what I was needing and had a technician out to measure promptly. They had the driveshaft built the same day. If your working on Jeeps or anything that would need a driveshaft take you business here. Great local company, everyone was super friendly!

Scott recently rebuilt a drive shaft for the 68 Chevy pickup I am restoring. He and his staff bent over backwards to be sure everything from workmanship to customer service was top notch. I highly recommend them!

Terrible quality of work as well as customer service. They do not clean anything before assembly, so old nasty grease will contaminate new bearings. They paint over dirt and grease. When I asked about these conditions they became instantly rude and aggressive. They went as far as to insult my personal appearance. Very unprofessional business!

The team at Rocky Mountain Driveline was very helpful when I needed some work done on my Jeep’s driveshaft. The customer service is top notch and friendly. Scott has a wealth of knowledge and years of experience. I will be back in the future whenever I need more work done on one of my vehicles! Thanks again to the team for the help!

The only thing worst than being up a creek without a paddle is being 1500 miles from home without a working driveshaft. Thankfully Scott at Rocky Mountain Driveline was more than on top of helping me obtain a new part. Couldn’t ask for someone more knowledgeable.

Took in driveshaft to have shortened. Had a small breakdown in communication and shaft was cut too short using different measuring points. It happens. Owner saw what had happened and had correct length shaft ready the next day. That is service you won't see any internet business give. Will definitely use Rocky Mountain Driveshaft again .
