Do not get items framed here! I had 4 pieces framed here at once and I went to go pick them up on the due date. I was told I would get a call, but I did not. It turned out 1 of the pieces was not ready yet and I was told it would be ready in 1 week and that I would get a call to come pick it up. I did not get a call, I still haven not gotten a call. I have gone twice in person and the item is still not done and the woman in framing has no update or information. I keep getting told I will get a call and I get no call. Today I called to talk to the manager because framing was again not available for a call and the manager was not available either. I am pretty sure I will never see that last piece of artwork again or get a refund for the item.I am giving 2 stars because the 3 pieces I got back are framed well and I am happy with those items but I am out $40 for the last piece and also the money for the artwork at this point so I will not be going back.

Went to this location last night. Plenty of time before close when we checked out, like at least half an hour. The rudest employee was behind the register. We walk up and look at her expectantly and she finally acknowledged us with a rude look and told us if we want to check out to use the self check out and pointed at it. She looked back down and ignored us again. This was the ONLY interaction we had the whole time in the store. My family is a very crafty family and this trip was so bad we will be taking our business elsewhere, Michael's may be a big chain and convenient, but they are not the only option.

There is a great selection of crafts and items needed for crafting. They do not have fabric but they do have some sewing accessories. On weekends lines are long, we try to only come on weekdays. They always have couponswhich is also great.

I came here a few weeks before Christmas in search of an ornament-shaped cookie cutter. When I walked in, I did not see many patrons nor did I see any employees. I wandered around for a bit in search of my cookie-cutter. I finally see an employee who is stocking shelves just an aisle over from me. I go up and ask him where I could find this particular ornament. I swear, the guy pauses, huffs, and then asks me if I already looked in the Christmas section. I was surprised at his annoyance. In the end, he pointed a few aisles down to where I could find the ornament and I found the one I was looking for. I then went up to the cash registers. The cashier called me up and I put my items on the counter. There were several flyers on the counter and all around the register areas indicating a 30% off. I made a comment about the 30% off coupon and assumed the cashier would have applied the discount, but when I got to my car and looked at my receipt I saw that no discount was given. I almost went back in but then I thought that maybe it didn't apply to baking items. The next day I happened to be in Superior and was near another Michaels. I popped inside the store and asked the cashier there about not getting the discount. He looked embarrassed and said, "Ya, your items do in fact apply towards getting the 30% discount." I asked why I hadn't been given one at the other store then and he shockingly said, "Well, if a customer asks for the 30% coupon or shows us a coupon then we can give the discount, but we are not allowed to suggest they use the coupon or even bring it to their attention." I was so surprised by this. So, the employees at Michaels have been instructed by management to not bring up any discounts to the customers so they don't have to apply them.... wow. This whole ordeal makes me never want to shop at a Michaels ever again. At least Hobby Lobby has plenty of employees around who are willing to assist customers and act happy to do so. They also look at their weekly ads that are taped to their registers to see if your purchases qualify for any discounts. That is how customer service should be.

Dropped off some art for framing in November, was told it would take two weeks to complete. Over 4 weeks later and I had to pick it back up to get a refund so I could frame it myself & get it to people by Christmas. No apology for the situation, nothing.

This is the worst location I've been to. Sarah that may be a supervisor but puts together online orders is extremely rude.
