Simple gas station food. Not impressed with quality, or taste.

It's such a great location! Had wanted to try this place for quite a while. Service is meh, food and coffee on par. It's SO GRIMY though ... I'm talking black furr on the baseboards and don't even get me started on the bathroom...makes one wonder what the kitchen may look like. Won't be back.

I love grabbing a coffee here. Their quiche and almond cake are delicious! The staff and other patrons have always been friendly.

I have gone here for a long time and the service is amazing as well as the food everyone is so friendly and I fell comfortable every time I walk in the doors 10/10 if you are in the area you need to stop

Met someone here on a date. Love the charm of the screen door and hodgepodge of different tables and chairs. I had a spice chi tea and a piece of cinnamon crumb cake. It was delicious and served on a cute real plate. The young lady who served me was knowledgeable (I asked for something decaf) and patient. Affordable, quaint, and great corner location.

Wow a fast favorite. So many incredible Sicilian pastries and a few savory foods as well - the meatballs are INSANE. I recommend absolutely everything with an emphasis on the almond biscotti.

I understand why people like it for the chill vibe, but the seating area wasn't clean. The fabric chairs were very dirty (lots of stains), and vinyl chairs had lots of crumbs in the seams. Really needs to be kept clean.

Oh, their cheddar they put in their vegetable quiche is a perfect breakfast. It's in an arts and cultural district so it's pretty safe out here, and, while they serve coffee, they also have some smoothies that you can buy for the same price. The variety of the food menu is convenient, but the Italian sodas are considerably pricey. Still, if you can't find a kiwi soda for several miles, it suppose it's reasonable to get it here? The employees are nice and the place is good at making me laugh.

This is quite a unique coffee shop.... The breakfast sandwiches are highly recommended. They have a large selection, and the staff is more than willing to help you recommend if wanted.Parking: There are free parking in this area, but you might have to walk in order to get to this destination.

It’s ok. Coffee was decent but quiche and baked goods are sub par. I feel for the baker whose items are deflated and zapped in the microwave, flattened quiche photo added here. Space/barista area could use a deep clean and furnishings could use an update as they are worn down.

Friendly service, feels like a real locals spot, and the cinnamon coffee cake is delicious. After two visits though, I unfortunately wouldn’t recommend this place. Especially if you’re more of a third wave or specialty coffee person like I am. The grinders looked like they’ve never been cleaned in their life, I didn’t see a scale in sight, and the latte wasn’t rich and sweet. Once I started looking closer at the space, I realized the the whole place has a similarly unkempt vibe as behind the counter. I get having cozy vibes and mixed furnishings but this place feels like it was in dire need of an edit and a proper scrub everywhere.

We went in for coffee. We forgot we’d been here before. The shop is older and has a really cool atmosphere. The gentleman that served us was pleasant. Pretty sure it’s accessible however there are steps to get to the seating/bathrooms or down to the coffee depending on which door you enter. We personally didn’t have food or enjoy our coffees. It was too bitter for our tastes. We’ve been searching out locally owned coffee shops for vanilla lattes since last summer after enjoying them so much all over Europe. Or cafe lattes, depending on geography. lol We rarely find a place that has everything but most places have at least one thing that is really great and sometimes, like here at La Dolce Vita, you find a little gem that you just don’t expect. If you’re an 80’s kid or… wiser… haha… or you have spent time in the Midwest for example, walking through either door of this place will make your heart smile. It’s older and loved, what some might call shabby, with a feeling… There is a feeling and you GET a feeling. Anyway, we love this little place just next time we’ll maybe ask for extra milk and extra vanilla.
