Got my groceries, used self checkout, done in 20 minutes

We have had numerous bad experiences with the pharmacy at this location, but the last experience was the worst. I was diagnosed with COVID and was having difficulty breathing, so my doctor sent two prescriptions to this pharmacy on Friday. They filled one of them but said they never received the other. My doctor resent the order a few more times on Monday, but King Soopers kept saying they didn't receive it. Finally my doctor faxed the order. Then King Soopers said they could not get that medicine because it was not on their formulary and that the pharmacist "had not seen that medicine for years". A short time later I received a text message stating that they had the medicine but that it would cost me over $235 to get because it was not covered by insurance. I then called them for about the tenth time, and they denied ever telling me that they didn't have it. I asked to speak to the manager, but they refused, were very rude, and put me on hold for a long time. I finally hung up and then called the store and complained to the manager. That will be the last time I ever go to that store.

Beyond being the worst grocery store. Automated pharmacy system will not inform you that they don't take your insurance for a vaccine despite entering all of that information at time of booking.

Employees are inconsistent & want to have attitudes when helping at self checkout. King Soopers is the new Wal-Mart. Don't believe me, then try out their customer service for yourself.

Almost every time I shop gete, the regular price of a sale item I'm getting rings up and I have to wait in the customer service line to be reimbursed. I can't continue shopping here because I don't want to be overchargered- especially on bigger hauls when its harder to catch. It's frustrating with the price of groceries these days and specifically picking out items that are on sale. The customer service person let me know its a known issue that "happens all the time".I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the store manager was understanding when I called, which I appreciated. I understand they have staffing issues, but I don't want to feel like I'm getting ripped off every week. Don't put a sale sign up if it takes 48 hours to get into the system (what the store manager said).

Horrible checkout experiences!Educate and hire some staff. I’m being asked how to fix YOUR cash register.I’ll drive further to Whole Foods before I shop there again.

Terrible. 3 employees, one right after the other with bad attitudes and poor me syndrome. Starbucks is the tiny square in the building with any idea of customer service.

No customer service after 7:00 pm. I would not recommend this store if your looking for meat. Their selections are very limited, especially for steak!

Been in 5 different times to order from the deli department. No one behind the counter is remotely interested to help the customers that come up to the counter. I don’t have time to stand and wait to be acknowledged. I’ve motioned and asked if someone can help me with something from the cases. I get a very frustrated help after I had been waiting. I’m not the only one this is happening to, each time there are three or four people waiting. Management should take steps to insure your customers are helped at something that isn’t self serve. Even I’ll be with you in a few mins would help.

Whoever redesigned this grocery store may have been kicked in the head by a horse. There is literally no logic to parts of the new layout.

I have bought magazines and books at this King Sooper's for the last 10 to 12 years. Now they have gotten rid of all that except magazines in the check out lanes. There are many aisles of alcohol and wine. Alcohol, especially, kills so many people, destroys families and children are hurt.

It's too crowded and they're always out of stock of many important items, and their produce is just gross. But the meat and seafood counter has friendly helpful staff.

I have shopped this store several times a week for the past five years. It’s a great neighborhood market. Great employees, from the manager to the cashiers. I can usually count on meeting the store manager, Joey or his assistant, in an aisle stocking, tidying up when I’m shopping. He sends a good message.Yes, things have changed recently, the store remodel and layout. Items can be found in "odd" places until the store remodel is complete. Be patient. It’s almost complete. The employees have endured the same inconvenience as their customers. A big plus from the remodel. There’s more room! The aisles have been shortened, wider end aisles. Produce and meat enlarged. I work in retail and know what a chore it is to move literally tons of product and shelving to accommodate a remodel.Yes, the store is stocked and re-stocked during the day. I like that. It keeps the shelves full. Want to know where an item is? Just download the King Soopers app. I find it invaluable. Or, the stockers are eager to help me find any item I can’t. Just ask.I can sympathize with anyone who works on a concrete floor for eight hours a day, lifts literally a ton of products either by checking and/or stocking shelves and serves a hundred or more customers per shift. If you’re not greeted with a wide smile, pretend you’re in their shoes, feet and back aching. Give them a break. Better yet, give them one of your smiles. They are here for you, despite how they may feel.If you left this store for another, come back and see the improvements made. You’ll be pleased.A note to fellow reviewers: No review should subjective. State the facts. Leave your emotions to yourself. Every consumer has been disappointed with a product, service or store environment at least once. Please do not post a review based on one occurrence that may lead consumers to believe a business is less than deserving of your patronage.

With inflation and the lack help you get at this store I have decided to shop at Whole Foods instead. If I am going to pay a lot I want the best quality and helpful people. I have to climb the shelves weekly because the workers are not pulling the items forward through the day. I often see workers while climbing the shelves and they never offer to help. I will say that it is nice to see more cashiers so I don't have to do all of the work myself.

Weirdest King Soopers store layout, every aisle you might get bread or you might get laundry detergent or you might get cereal or you might get cat litter. Why not group all of the groceries together and THEN pharmacy items and THEN everything else you sell? I was probably in the store 3 times longer than usual just trying to figure out where to find everything.I was really happy that the cashier asked if I brought my own bags, many other stores just start putting things in bags and expecting to charge you for the bags.
