Great experience this evening! Got here around 8:30pm. They weren’t crowded and employees were stocking shelves and cleaning. They had EVERYTHING I needed ! I was so pleased because stores are out of a lot of items these days and you end up making multiple trips, which you don’t want to do right now. Employees were helpful, also. Great experience ?

The Security Guard needs to remember HE IS A NOT A POLICE OFFICER he doesn't have the right to EXERCISE THE LAW!!! CAR INCIDENT IN PARKING LOT ON 6/3/2024 HE ESCALATED THE SITUATION BY YELLING AT PEOPLE THAT WERE TRYING TO HANDLE THE SITUATION WITH COMMON SENSE. SOMETHING THE SECURITY GUARD LACKS!!! THEN STARTS GOSSIPING THE SITUATION TO ALL THE KING SOOPERS EMPLOYEES AND CUSTOMERS!!! RETIRE HIM!!! NOW!!!

First time visiting was memorable!
While I was scanning a few products in self check out, one rang up incorrectly. I couldn't find anyone to help, so I ran back to check the price. I came back, and my items were voided and gone. There were no lines of people waiting, so there was no need to do that. When I asked someone working there what happened, she thought I left the store and told me
"Communication is key."
That stopped me in my tracks. Who says this? Very rude. Things changed when I worked at a grocery store 20 years ago.
The manager helped by sincerely apologizing and ringing me up, but that was jarring. I only came for the Pico, too, and got 5 items total.

I have visited this store multiple times a week and upon entering every single time, it smells absolutely horrendous. It smells like literal cat urine, so bad. This is especially disgusting considering this is a grocery store.

Products are somewhat limited as to choices or variety of brands but hands down customer service is on point efficient friendly especially the gentleman Adam who helped to open up a lane for me late tonight he was friendly and careful being considerate of my purchases and he even walked me out with a second cart and helped load groceries into my cart. If this kid doesn't get some well deserved accolades I'd be sadly disappointed. Management you've got a rare gem be good to him

Do you like empty shelves? Rotten sludge in your produce? Managers who stand around just watching long lines at the checkouts? Then this is the place for you! Honestly, having worked plenty of grocery and produce jobs in the past, I'm kinda flabbergasted as to how they can do such a terrible job at everything here and still stay open. Go elsewhere for your food. Trust me.

Imagine a grocery store so bad that you have to review it. It’s hard to imagine, but this is the one.
This place has many problems, but the final straw is that the whole place now smells like death, as in rotting animal carcasses. There is an overwhelming odor as soon as you walk in the door, past the visible rat traps. I’ve smelled this odor before and I know what it is. It’s unmistakable.
Combine that with the rotting food on the shelves, items passed their expiration dates, meats with no weight or expiration date labeled, marked prices that ring up higher at the register, poor stocking, no checkout lanes ever open, carts all over the parking lot, no baskets, dogs roaming free, and lazy employees too busy chatting or playing on their phones to do literally anything about anything and you get the worst grocery store I’ve ever been to in the world. I’ve been to stores in third-world countries that make this place look shameful.
Keep in mind that Kroger profited a record $3.1 Billion last year.

Can’t believe I am reviewing a grocery store. But this one is so poorly stocked and ran I absolutely hate coming here.

Outdated store with no desire to update. Check dates on products. I would shop anywhere before this store.

Zero stars this location is TERRIBLE. Our family used to shop here all the time. Now we go to other locations. 58th and Independence should close for good.

Get some shopping baskets. I don't need a cart. Or don't bother because I won't be returning to this location anyway since they don't respect their customers enough to have shopping baskets.

Staff is unfriendly, and more concerned if your stealing, if they can record you, what color you are and or if your just generally up to no good then they are concerned about being a decent grocery store and helping out everyone get what they need to go on about their day. Not once do any workers ask if you need assistance looking for anything nor do they care enough to stop a 6 worker conversation to get some of the people trying to buy things out. Store manager Nora was super awesome and on top of her stuff.

This location has possibly one of the best pharmacies in town. Everyone is very helpful with questions and I'm never waiting very long.
