Purchased an open box YOYO3 and received a YOYO2, which I only realized after seeing a friends YOYO3. Their initial solution was to refund me $50. Be cautious buying from this company. And pay with a credit card so you can do a chargeback in the event they send you the wrong gear and refuse to refund you.

Not there anymore. The whole building is locked. It's labeled Saltbox now. I drove an hour to get here, so disappointed.

I learned about GoodBuy Gear while pursuing my degree at CU Denver Business School, where the owner was a guest speaker. I was immediately drawn to the convenience of their business model for busy parents. So, when I became a parent and wanted to sell my preowned baby items, I naturally thought of them. Unfortunately, I wish I had read other sellers' negative reviews before diving in.
The payout I received was disappointingly low, and the communication was frustrating. I had some unsellable items that I needed to pick up from their warehouse, which has no physical store and is located inside a complex. They instructed me to text a phone number upon arrival, but their text system wasn’t working. It was incredibly difficult to reach them—no phone number, no signage, and no clear instructions. After waiting 30 minutes and trying to get their attention via customer service chat and Messenger, I had to ask a Saltbox employee for help. The staff member handling my pickup offered no apology, and I received a half-hearted apology from their online team the next day, citing “technical difficulties.”
It’s frustrating that customers can’t reach them when they arrive to pick up items, especially since they charge a $10 fee if unsellable items aren’t picked up within seven days. As a business owner myself, I find it disappointing when a company prioritizes its own convenience over that of its customers. I truly regret my decision to sell with GoodBuy Gear. You’re far better off using platforms like Facebook Marketplace; it will save you time, money, and headaches.

Came to pick up an order this week, and had to wait 25 minutes to receive it. I texted the number as directed, but apparently it never went through. (As confirmed by an employee). I pulled up, but no one ended up coming out after 10 minutes. I tried calling the number I texted, but it's a text only number. There was no doorbell or number to call, and we ended up having to flag down an employee at the business next door to alert a GoodbuyGear employee. She was finally able to retrieve my items .
I think that it is unfair to your customers that there's no way to contact you if the texting doesn't appear to have worked. Your neighboring companys' employees should not have to run as messengers for you. Please consider adding a doorbell or a phone number to call.

I recently ordered a baby monitor—got a good deal for it, it shipped fast and the monitor works perfectly. Overall, I had a great experience and plan to buy more baby stuff from Goodbuy Gear.

The Google pics make it look like it’s a warehouse store that you can walk through and get hands on with the items, which is what I was looking for. Drove out to the address and found out that it is not, There is no store for you to go to, 100% online. Just wasn’t super clear so hopefully this will save someone else the trip out!

Update. After significant pushback, I was refunded.
Ordered a $190 of stuff from them and fedex lost the package. Told me to work it out with fedex and were absolutely no help. FedEx tells me they will refund them if they would call and file a claim but goodbuygear refuses and offered no solution. Horrible customer service just a rip-off really disappointed.

I received a defective product. When I contacted customer support they immediately gave me a refund and said they had no replacements available. However, I looked on the website and they did have replacement available but it was about $80 more. When I asked for a replacement, they said sorry and they already offered the refund. I wish that I was given an option of replacement or refund before they processed the refund, but I was not. I will not be buying from this company again.

I agree with some of these reviews that as a buyer my experience has been pretty good. As a seller, they do rip you off. For example, I gave them a Graco Swing that cost $80 new and had barely been used as my baby didn’t like swinging. They set the price as $28. I received $2.80. If I had known this would be the case I would’ve kept it to give to friends or sold it myself. I also remember having some funds from selling with them years ago with my first child (and I think the payout percentage was higher back then too) but I didn’t request to transfer cash to my bank account and that money is now gone. They could’ve at least warned me it would be forfeited.

Will not be selling with this company again, they were great until they weren’t. They couldn’t sell our baby monitor for whatever reason and then sold our stroller and I made $4. No longer worth it. So disappointed!

I ordered the Halo bassinet.
the box was opened when delivered.
Even tho the baby is not here for another 2 months, I wanted to put it together to make sure everything was there.
Everything was there but the pieces did not fit.
1st we had to drill larger holes for the metal buttons to fit thru.
2nd we greased and had to hammer one of the legs into place.
Poor quality
Poor manufacturing
Quick Delivery but open box

To say that I’m in shock is an understatement. Ordered a “Barely used” Bugaboo Fox 3 and received a BRAND NEW stroller. The only thing that was listed as missing was the canopy (which I ordered as well from GBG).The stroller price was…… $400!!!! For Bugaboo! Yeah!HIGHLY SATISFIED and strongly recommend!

Im gonna revamp this review. The arvada location is now closed. With this place it is way the hell out in timbuktu. Way out by someLandfill.like it was with arvada very expensive way to get rid of babygear. I handed over a carseat two bikes and a ball pit along with my stroller and a little tikes water table. I gave it to them to try and sell to try and tamp down what looks to be like I owe them money apparently I'm sitting at -14 bucks? They donated everything except the stroller and the table. I didn't catch them in time because of Thanksgiving. So my 80 dollar carseat got donated same with the bikes and the ballpit.Still waiting for a payout almost a week after my stroller sold.So let's break down the math. Mockingbird strollers full retail are 600 give or take I paid 400 for a used mockingbird stroller. They sold it for 399 if I'm lucky ill get 220. When and if it pays out. My kelty backpack I basically gave to them because of "fees". Didn't earn anything.

This is not worth the headache. You're better off on craigslist or facebook marketplace and here's why: 1. the prices are higher here, which would be fine if they offered something more than craigslist or marketplace, which in terms of product, return guarantee etc. they do not. I've run into many facebook marketplace sellers who are more willing to work with you and return things that don't work than this company 2. They are deceptive in their listings. some listings are missing parts, which may or may not be pictured in their listing shots, sometimes they use stock photos. if you don't read all the fine print, you're on the hook, do not trust product photos 3. They actually do let you do returns, BUT only if you pay extra at checkout, before you've seen the product. You can't pay extra after the fact to do a return, why? who knows SO in essence: you are not saving money, you are not guaranteeing you can return items, and you are not getting anything nicer than what you can find second hand locally. Go somewhere else, they are just taking money from buyers and sellers without adding any value.
