“Rather not go to any other place. Nate and crew are a rare exception to the accepted practices and ethics found in American business today. Their enthusiasm is unparalleled and their knowledge expert. I can imagine no better combination for successful relations and satisfied parties.
Edit 01.5.2024: Still go here. Exclusively. They are consistent quality and good people. I wish there were more like them.”

1205 W Byers Pl B, Denver“Great bargain & sales team. One service guy was having a bad day & should have stayed off the floor but this was also the weekend they moved he could have been overwhelmed. I did/do love my purchase. It’s in for initial safety check now but I felt confident in my initial service appointment.”
“Pedal Pushers is the best shop in the front range IMO. Eric runs a solid business and Sheldon is the best wrench! Their skill, knowledge and demeanor is unmatched.”
“I visited the store for some replacement spokes and was blown away with their service. Professional, knowledge, and a fair price for quality work. What else could you ask for? Way to go guys!”
“They fixed my derailleur & then spent loads of time patiently answering tons of questions I had. This place embodies what a retail experience should be. Fantastic!”
“We stopped in without a reservation and were still able to take a wonderful 2 hour rental to downtown Golden and to Clear Creek Trail! Cheyenne was great at explaining everything and make the experience easy! She adjusted the bikes to each of us and gave us helmets. We will definitely be back and 100% recommend renting e bikes!”
“I have had nothing but exceptional service from Yawp Cyclery. Scott and Levi, in particular, are more than helpful, they transcend normal customer service and deliver hospitality. You feel their sincerity and knowledge to your issues. I personally had an ordeal with my Fuji E-Traverse with a Bosch Active Line Plus motor. My chain would come off the chain ring multiple times a day and pinch in between my motor and the ring. I would ruin chain after chain. They helped me obtain a gear shifter with a clutch to add more tension, and then flipped my chain ring and guard around so the chain would not be pinched in between the motor and the ring if the chain ever came off again. Yawp cyclery has been there for me from day one and shown integrity in pricing. I've never been gouged for labor or parts. Very reasonably priced for the level of expertise they offer. Highly recommend!!!!”
“Kudos to the Service Department.
I brought my bike in for maintenance and Matt checked it in and gave me an honest assessment of what was needed; no games at all.
Dolphin did the work and it rides
great! All of WRC’s technicians are first class and I appreciate the quality work.
It is nice to deal with a high quality shop that doesn’t play games. As a long standing customer I say thank you WRC!!”
“I didn't have a specialty tool (to remove and install the cassette on a wheel), so went in 30 minutes before closing to see if they could do it. They swapped my cassette to another wheel for free, no trouble! Thanks!!”
“Mike's Bikes in Downtown Denver always has amazing service and friendly staff. They turn work around fast and have never done less than a perfect job for me.”
“I’ve been riding Trek Bikes for well over 30 years. The Golden shop offers excellent customer service and knowledgeable sales of high quality parts and reasonably priced products. Along with performing expert on-site maintenance and repairs, being supported by knowledgeable, extremely qualified and articulate staff, I highly recommend Trek Bicycle in Golden.”
“This is MY neighborhood bike store, and I absolutely adore it. The staff is super awesome and kind. I got my e-bike's brake pads replaced and received helpful tips for what I should look out for as I continue putting miles on it. Whenever I stop for coffee, I bring my tumbler; you get a discount when you bring your own container!! The gather & chill community vibes here are immaculate! They host a Saturday morning bike ride every month; it is an excellent opportunity to check out the beautiful Sloan's Lake Park on bike!!”
“I went here because my friend has been a bunch and love their service.
Zach was absolutely fantastic. I asked if he could change my road tires to the new gravel tires I brought in. He did great work and went above and beyond. Highly recommend this place!”
“Commencal came through for me helping with a SRAM warranty issue. They were so easy and helpful to work with, and provided the very best customer service. I can’t express enough appreciation for everyone’s support. Beyond that, I could not be happier with my FRS frame. Zero complaints. Highly recommend Commencal and the team there in Golden. Thank you!”

860 N Broadway, Denver“I waited to write this review as I wanted to ski a few days in my new set up prior to sharing my experience.I had been skiing on 20+ year old set up from play it again sports that I bought when first moving to Denver. After 3 seasons in those boots, I had enough of the pain. I booked an appointment in February and they were booked til March (makes sense in peak ski season). I signed up for the regular boot fitting.Upon arrival, I was greeted by Gordy at the check-in desk. He ended up taking me to a different room in the building next-door as it was super busy in the retail store. Gordy then sat me down and asked me if I wanted a beer since they are sponsored by 805 brewing. Thinking it'd be rude not too, I said hell yeah.Gordy asked all about my skiing experience prior to taking any measurements. He seemed genuinely interested in improving my skiing and making me more comfortable in some boots. He asked to see what bindings I currently ran, and when I showed him a picture, he informed me that my outdated bindings were not going to work well withe newer boots. On top of that, he said they were probably next in line for becoming indemnified and explained how my skis were system skis. He went on to explain that a new set-up was probably a wise decision based on the factors above. So I ended up asking for a whole new set-up.Having a high-volume foot with high arches and scrunched toes, finding shoes that fit has always been hard. Gordy took some measurements and told me that only a few boots are going to fit my feet. He brought out three pairs and I tried each of them on. After standing in various poses, walking around, and discussing the features of the boot, he worked with me to find the most comfortable pair. After heat molding the liners, he worked with me to determine where they needed to be punched out. After the boots were taken care of, we went over to the computer to look at skis. He showed me a variety of skis and explained how they'd react to a person of my size (6'6" and 295lbs) and skill level (intermediate). He was geeking out over the K2 99ti mindbenders and told me that this was the ski for me. He stressed how the ski, paired with the stiffer boots, would help me have more control at higher skis and overall help me improve my skiing. They were already having an end of season sale, and although they weren't in-stock at this location, Gordy asked the manager if I could still get the extra 15% promo they were running for in-stock skis. So I got these skis for almost 1/2 off MSRP.I never felt like I was getting pushed into a decision or oversold. As someone who didn't know much about the difference in skis, I left there with a bunch of knowledge thanks to Gordy. After skiing in the new set up, I could not have been happier. The boots are very comfortable, and the skis performed far beyond my expectations. I'll be coming back with any ski needs.”
“It is always nice to do business with a small business owner. I want there to get time mirrors for my bike and then when it came in he was nice to install them for me. Great service from the owner. I will continue to take my bike there for service. Give him a try you won’t regret it.”
“Had a great experience at Base Camp. Walked in just looking around and found several things I had on my wishlist and a few things I didn't know were a thing that is now on my wishlist. Staff was helpful, friendly, and seemed well informed on all things cycling. I will definitely be coming back.”
“? Approximately ten days ago, I visited this establishment and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The team here is very welcoming and incredibly supportive. Not only do they offer expert bike repairs, but they also provide educational workshops that cover bike repair techniques, understanding different bicycle models, the unique tools? needed for bike assembly/disassembly, and the intricacies of various bicycle parts and components.
?I’d like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Laurie A., Molly, and Charlotte for their exceptional assistance in locating the necessary components for my bicycle. Their dedication to service was evident as they helped me identify the correct parts and showed me the tools required for the installation process on my bike.
?♂️ When it comes to taking care of any and all of my bicycle servicing, this shop is my first stop on my list . I wholeheartedly encourage everyone to experience the outstanding services offered at this shop.
?Also...i want to give a special thanks to Bikes Together for the countless hours, comprehensive services, patience, and diligent efforts invested to make sure our bicycles are in prime condition ?♂️, secure and safe for riding, and to assist those who are interested in getting the right bike. ✨️? ✨️”
“Absolutely incredible bike fitting experience; Charles can talk about the body as astutely as he can talk about bikes. For context I am attempting the full iron man. I left his fitting not only knowing more about my body and its tendencies on and off the bike, but I was given AAA knowledge on what types of bikes would work best for me. After I came back with my bike, Charles transformed what would normally be a mid range daily driver capable of doing 112 miles in the Iron Man, into a machine that I feel that I myself will be able to accomplish the full 112 miles on. After my fitting, James took the time to go over features of my bike I would have never discovered otherwise as well as impeccable tips on how to maintain the bike and keep it in tip top shape. He dialed in my bike in a way that allowed me to feel like I was perfectly at home on my bike. I couldn't imagine attempting the Iron Man without this. When the time comes to fit myself for a mountain bike, I won't even consider any other shop in town. An absolutely flawless experience that exceeded all expectations I had.”
“Always friendly and helpful! Went in to get new cleats and George offered to put the new cleats on my shoes and get my pedals changed out. They go above and beyond and it's appreciated!”
“Idk how this place has so many negative reviews, seems like maybe ownership changed hands? Every time I've stopped in, every single worker has been more than helpful. I am such a novice biker, and these guys have shown me fixes before without charging me, they've serviced my road and mountain bikes, and most recently showed me which pedal and cleat combinations would work, as well as showing me better shoes that I will be returning for when I am a little more seasoned. I really appreciate the knowledge sharing, lack of upsell pressure, and just helping people like me get on the road easier and more proficiently with something they're very passionate about.”

3863 Steele St Unit 1278, Denver“These guys are awesome! I purchased a Rad Rover, amazing bike. Plus Kim, Jon, and Matt have been doing incredibly helpful with everything. It's my first electric bike. I for sure recommend checking them out. I was sent by a friend and have since then sent others myself! Ride safe yo!”
“I've seen a ton of negative comments about customer service, but I didn't let that deter me from stopping in to get supplies for fixing a flat on my bike.
I entered right behind another customer and was helped immediately. Bill led me to the front counter and showed me various repair kits. He had the self adhesive type as well as the glue based patches with the scraper to scuff the tire. He also provided the tire levers ti assist with removing the tire from the rim.
Although not overly friendly, he was efficient and professional. He had a job to do and he did it in an efficient manner. I was there for the convenience (location and time) and it was provided.
The cost was a little high, but again, I was willing to pay for the convenience. And, it seems the cost of everything has risen.
Will definitely go back if I need something again!”
“Best local tri store! I’ve done 2 half-ironmans and the folks at Arvada Tri helped me dial-in my nutrition and bike box rentals with no stress. Appreciate the top customer service, above and beyond. Thank you Steve and Zack!”
