I like to be alive, so I will never go back to this place. I paid to have a new tie rod end installed on my car ($808) and when I got it back, there was no cotter pin or locking mechanism holding the castle nut on. If you don’t realize, this is imperative to keeping your wheels on your car. Well, my wheel detached where the new tie rod end was installed. Luckily I was driving slow in the snow, or this could have easily been fatal as my wheel came unattached. I even found the castle but that came off, I was driving so slow. They claimed they didn’t touch that pin when they installed the tie rod end, but it is literally the locking mechanism that holds the nut in place when attaching the tie rod end. They said my control arm was busted, but it wasn’t. Luckily we e took pictures before we towed it. Clearly from the pictures we can see that it is in tact and that the whole thing came unscrewed. When we brought this up, the front desk girl changed her story real quick and said she had pictures too. Then why would you say that? When I hauled the car back, they replaced the other tie rod end also cause of the damage that was caused was their fault, yes, but THERE STILL WASNT A COTTER PIN or any locking nut/mechanism on the nut they used to secure the arm. I understand there are locking nuts that replace some cotter pins these days, there was not one of those on my car either. There was a castle nut on there. I’m lucky I took a mechanic with me to this place, cause they set me up for that wheel to come off again, exactly how it did when they “fixed” it before. When we called them out on it, they put it back on the lift and showed us and the technician (J.Lee) told us to our faces it was fine and that’s how it goes now but THEN SWITCHED IT the minute we turned our backs, 3 card monty style! I took pics when it was on the lift cause I still didn’t believe it was okay that way. IT WASNT!! That’s why they switched it on us after we asked. When questioned about that, the owner Brian was like “well it’s all okay now”. No Brian, it ain’t. It ain’t okay.
I was texting another mechanic friend in real time (besides the one that went with me) that used to work there and he was like that’s still wrong too. The paper work they tried to get me to sign had the wrong information on it, it didn’t match the work performed on my car on top of their terrible unsafe job, not to mention with how they file their paperwork to carfax and that would make my car’s report wrong. (That black part with the blue bubbly thing is the arm & that castle nut with the cotter pin is what they said they didn’t touch when installing that arm) Bottom line, I wasn’t gunna leave a review, but I’m still shaking from how unsafe they made me feel, not to mention the gaslighting when I rightfully questioned their work. I was not safe in my car after they worked on it and just to express how not in touch with their customers they are, they sent me a text this morning asking me to leave a review. Welp, here it is. NOTE: this is my second time posting because my first review somehow got deleted.
¡¡BEWARE!!
EDITED: less than 1 year later, I have to have the corrected work they did redone. DONT USE THEM IF YOU DONT WANT TO WASTE MONEY

The staff of bending wrenches has ALWAYS been courteous, informative, and trustworthy. Prices for services are reasonable. They have continued to monitor the past, present, and future maintenance required for our 2001 Odyssey (224000 miles; original engine with a rebuilt transmission). A very well built and enduring product. The most recent maintenance visit to Bending Wrenches was for time and distance on the
vehicle. Spark plugs needed to be replaced, and plug cylinders needed cleaning. Once again the team completed a thorough inspection of the vehicle. The result being a well tuned reliable vehicle for another cross country trip. Winter tires rotated with summer tires; ready for another cross country trip! Thank you Bending Wrenches!
The Odyssey had an oil leak that has been difficult to find. The team at Bending Wrenches endured the mystery leak until they added a “dye” to the most recent oil change. Thankfully, the dye worked; the elusive leak was discovered, repaired and the Odyssey continues her journey with 237 K. Thanks to the entire team at Bending Wrenches. This company offers above average service for our needs. Hat’s off to you!
Once again, the team at Bending Wrench proved to be a very caring and professional auto repair business. I highly recommend this local business for one’s mechanical auto maintenance and repairs.

Had my car in for diagnostics and they narrowed the problem to what I thought it was, confirming my suspicions. Also the cost for this was a tad more than half originally quoted. So far they are a company I would use again.

Our Santa Fe was completed on time even though they ran in to some unexpected problems. The final price was less than quoted. We are very happy with them and will be coming back when we have additional needs.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I was recommended this place from the guys that work at Checker O'Rielly here in Arvada. I also have heard good things not only from friends of friends, but online reviews as well. My issue was getting a catalytic converter into my daughter's car NOW before she goes to school in a couple weeks. Time for us was VERY limited. I decided to try this company out and I was not let down. I called, talked to Brian, explained my situation, he explained what needed to be done, cost and when he could get it fixed. (He also explained the new Colorado, emissions compliant laws that applied to my situation, and what it would cost for a new catalytic converter...)
To our surprise, they jumped on our car and the issue was solved in a day and a half. Now, I cannot guarantee that will happen with others, but here is what I do know. I drive by this place almost EVERY DAY. They are busy with many cars there... EVERY DAY. That HAS to mean something. Brian was very informative and honest, especially when I asked if I could do this myself. He did not have to be honest as to potentially lose business, but he told me it could be done, but any diagnostics that would have had to be done, I would have to take it to him either way. SO... we had them fix it. I did not have to bust my knuckles doing so and taking the time to get it up on jacks and all that other baloney working on cars. The place is well kept and very professional. I recommend this place in a big way and will bring our vehicles to them in the future. Thank you Brian and company...

I have been going here for years now and they are trustworthy but seems like it’s gotten more expensive. Paid $400 to replace spark plugs.
