Meeker Park Lodge is an old style establishment steeped in tradition, offering a rustic and quiet escape. It is a wonderful place and an absolute gem, providing a great place to get away from it all without a stressful tourist experience. The lodge itself is incredible, holding an old Lodge charm within one of the most beautiful mountain areas. Accommodations are very rustic, clean, comfortable, and basic. For most rooms, the bathrooms are somewhere else. The rental cabins offer a bit of privacy for a family and are just as beautiful, perfect for five people. This is not a place for those expecting the Ritz-Carlton, but a perfect escape to build traditions and memories. Guests can enjoy sitting on the big upstairs porch to watch the sunset and hummingbirds. It is convenient lodging for Rocky Mountain National Park and convenient to Lily Lake, where you will get cell service again, as there is no cell phone service at the lodge. Estes Park, where most restaurants are, is not a far drive, about 15-20 minutes away. The lodge has a cute little market with lunch stuff and snacks, though it closes at 6pm. Horseback riding is available. The owners and staff are absolutely fantastic people, offering above and beyond hospitality and understanding. It is a wonderful place to visit or revisit for a quiet stay.
My family and I stayed in one of the cabins and had a great time. It is very rustic, which we enjoyed, but I could understand how its not for everyone. Its in a beautiful area. The staff, especially Piper was very friendly and welcoming and gave the lodge a very special atmosphere.

Heather and the team were awesome. Can't wait to head up for some square dancing this Thursday.

So first up there is no cell phone service. Second this is an old style establishment. Meaning for most rooms the bathrooms are somewhere else. But it is a great place if you want to get away from it all.
