“My significant other hates shopping, but this City Market made it pretty easy on him. Granted we were there at around 7PM on 10/26/2023. I've been here before, and the customer service has been good each go-round. The store is fairly organized and clean. I noticed some great deals on their Kroger branded items. They eased the inflation-induced budget a little. Not much, but a little. At night I noticed the lighting in the parking lot was okay. Could be brighter, but overall it seems to be a safe area. I like grocery shopping here far more than other places in Alamosa. Bring your own bags or gripe about being charged for plastic. Your choice.”

“From 2014 to 2022, City Market was great. Best store in Colorado. They had some great people working there. Austin Velasquez, David Cole, Brian Wright, Colton Smith, just to name a few people. If you needed help finding something, they would take you right to it. They wouldn't just point in a general direction and run away. Today, the store is still nice, I didn't think that there needed to be another starbucks in alamosa, and I miss the salad/fruit bar in the deli. I hate that they took out the seating in the deli. I still like shopping there, but it just isn't the same.”
“Decent for being a Walmart. One thing I really liked about this store is the selection of foods from Mexico - not Americanized Mexican food, but authentic Mexican food from Mexico.”

“Usually people have good experiences at Walmart's or big successful chain stores, but mine was extra good. I went to buy makeup and my dad gave me 10 dollars. I tried my best to stay under the limit but went 37 cents over. I was trying to remove it from the system and she came over and said, "I wanna see you get that." And literally gave me two quarters. It's things like this that make my day, I cried my eyes out...lol. This really hit close to my heart. Some people are just so kind.”

“Great meat! Great People! I love their meat packages (they have a great variety and cut down on shopping time). If you have dogs or do bone broth they have really cheap, high quality bones. They also accept SNAP.”
