Don't know how they have such good ratings got an appointment for a car took it in two weeks later when our appointment was ready was rude when we dropped it off waited a week to contact him to ask if there was any kind of evaluation of our car he still hadn't had time to take a look at it even though we had an appointment 2 weeks earlier just acted like he really didn't care about having our business or want our business and what he finally said he believed was wrong with our vehicle wasn't even close!!! Would not recommend this shop to anyone for any reason

I don’t even know where to begin. The owners of this place are compassionate and knowledgeable. My wife and I don’t know a whole lot about cars and they did not make us feel dumb. They talked us through the issues with the car in a way that we could understand, but weren’t condescending. I was able to chat with Chris for a while and it’s clear he cares about his family! I love supporting local businesses whenever possible and if we’re close by and need anything else done on the car, we will take it here. They didn’t try to get us to buy things we didn’t need either. Very thankful and blessed to have found this car shop. Highly recommend ✨

My wife's car broke down near alamosa on an emergency hill. Didn't actually end up taking the car here but the owner was super helpful was willing to do anything to help me out including dropping us off at a hotel.

Our battery went dead in Alamosa, CO and Clark Auto came immediately, jumped the battery, replaced it and had us on our way in less than an hour. Super nice people and awesome service! I highly recommend Clark.

Fantastic auto repair shop. The owner Chris was super friendly and professional and knowledgeable and, even though the shop was clearly busy, they were able to quickly repair my vehicle. It was just d*** luck I found Clark Auto passing through town in my campervan, had an issue pop up on the road and I was on a tight time crunch to catch a flight somewhere else. A wonderful family shop, I knew right away they knew what they were doing, fixed the problem and even corrected some d*** things the previous mechanic did to cut corners. Very grateful for their help and service.

Fixed our bad wheel bearing on a cross country trip. We showed up unannounced and they got us back on the road in a hour for a fair price. Great shop!

Pretty good experience. He filled up my tires for free and checked all my fluids even though I was only there for an oil change. The only reason its not 5 stars was he wasn't there during business hours. I had to wait outside for about 10 minutes before he came back. I will be taking my car back because he was super friendly and had me taken care of very quickly.
