In the middle of nowhere north of Sacramento on your way to Redding, there is an exit that puts you right out at a Shell station with a mini mart. I went in and was expecting it could be a display full of chips, Funyons and beef jerky. What's up Lauren behold they had a seriously styled up deli with sandwiches, soup and a bunch of other stuff. The place smelled so delicious. If I had more time I would have stopped to eat but this is now on my radar for my next drive up the state.

Stopped specifically for gas and restroom. Restroom was a disaster! Filthy in every aspect. No toilet paper HOLDER, but three giant rolls of paper on the handicap grab bar. There was a paper towel dispenser, but it wasn't filled with the three rolls on top of it. Graffiti on every surface possible except the toilet.Food was available in the mini mart but I certainly didn't wasn't going to chance eating there!Unleaded gas price posted yesterday on I-Exit app was $1.00 less than the price today. I know prices change but sometimes suspect prices aren't updated in a timely manner to get customers.

Customer service here sucks. When he was told the brand of gravy they use was ok for me to have, because of my allergies, he still refused to serve me. I have worked in customer service all my life, I know what I can and cannot have. He obviously doesn't like his job. Monday morning January 17, 2023.

Best sandwiches, biscuits and gravy, and shakes ever! Grew up next door and I still love going over and getting my custom sandwich and strawberry smoothie for lunch. For breakfast my biscuits and gravy with a side if bacon or the occasional breakfast sandwich.

Used the rest room and it wasn't until I washed my hands that I noticed the mirror looked a little sketch. I suspected that this is a two-way mirror as I did the fingernail test to see. I realized this too late or else I wouldn't have used the restroom. I'd say if you're stopping to use the restroom just don't... Now, I'll be thinking about this all the way home.

My husband and his parents have been eating at this deli for well over 20+ years and it's always been delightful but today unfortunately one of the female staff members a middle-aged Caucasian woman ( seems a little assertive to mention this but I need the point to be made for the fact that there was two different woman working this morning one of them excellent the other very opposite. ) seemed to not be in the best mood and handled her service performance very poorly her attitude alone is enough for me not have a sandwich made here again. although I know this business is wonderful I can't help but feel appalled by the service she provided. A simple blt was mistakenly made and when I asked for it corrected I got a rude remark and a much lesser quality sandwich remade. I thanked her anyways and was ignored with a 27 cent refund for the added ingredients that was mistakenly added and charged at a higher rate then my refund. Which I let be due to not wanting to deal with her once again.. in these hard times I know service providers are troubled with being understaffed and I myself have been a server and I know the battle with ungrateful customers but I can't help but feel she was snotty and rude and it all could of been handled better. As people are fighting to find and keep quality employees this last year I'd hope the owners here would see this post and at least sit this woman down and remind her that the locals of Zamora are here to support the business but not under these standards.

Avoid this gas station or snack stop at all costs. I’d give it negative reviews if possible. Stinks to high heaven of stale cigarettes and then the female rude clerk kept typing in her own made up prices! A 25cent candy she was charging us $1 for! The bag of chips was clearly marked $1.49 and she charged me $2.49. The fountain machine is filled with flat soda. Don’t go here. On a positive note, it’s where the sheriffs park at to scope out the freeway so I suppose you can feel safe at least. I want to scrub my hands in sanitizer!

The restroom is disgustingly dirty! Notified employees they are rude and could care less if the bathroom is clean or not. Don't stop and waste your money here they don't deserve it.

Love this place. Haven't been there forever as it used to be a pit stop when I was cycling a lot. Plenty of snacks and drinks. The owner at the time was a real good guy. A shady place to sit. Got to go back again.

Horrible customer service! A lady before us ordered a hot sandwich and the gave her a cold. She asked if they could please warm it up and they said ABSOLUTELY NOT after it was wrapped nothing they could do! They would not even remake the sandwich for her to make it right! Owner ended up coming and still denied her even buying another one! UNBELIEVABLE!!! The food was so so! No stock in the store for it being a stop with fuel along I-5. Will never stop at this place again because of there terrible customer service even from the owner!!
