This Von's store is highway robbery. I've priced exact items at Clark's Organics Market in the lower desert to be half the price on exact items. Everything from grass fed beef, organic cheese, lemons and olive oil. I am limited to ordering Sprouts Farmers Market through Insta Cart at 3 cents per mile. Horrible selection too. I shopped at the Santa Monica Co Op for 30 years which has farm to market foods for a fraction of the price ! There's nothing good in Yucca so I'm relocating to Palm Springs until I permanently head to a beach town in So Cal.

The water machines in the front are always either out of order or out of water. I've wasted my time and gas coming here for water so many times just to find it's still empty. Whoever is responsible for this is really dropping the ball and should be disciplined.

Yesterday I purchased pork chops to BBQ for dinner that night. When I opened the package, the odor about knocked us down. It was obviously rotton. I wrapped the packaged meat in plastic, so that today I could return it with my receipt to get a refund.
The checker said, when you see a 30% off sticker on a package of meat, that means it's about to expire. We don't give refunds on meat that's marked 30% off. it's a final sale.
That was a warning to me that if I buy rotten meat in the future, it's on me. She refunded my money reluctantly.
I never heard anything so ridiculous, so know this Vons (YV), I will be shopping elsewhere.

Cashier's were funny store was clean a little confusing as to were certain items might be ,but got some killer deals on meat.

The sell by dates on sandwiches and baked goods are longer then the product actually tastes good for. Such as a tuna sandwich made today the sale by date is 4 days in the future. If you don't check closely when purchasing that 4 day old sandwich is a soggy mess.
The baked goods same thing on the fresh baked cookies have a 7 day sell by dates. Can be stale if not paying close attention.
Store has not been remodeled in a long time and feels that way. I would not care so much but they have by far the highest prices in the area, if charging premium prices it should be a nice experience.
None of this is the employees fault they are always nice but seem overworked. Seems like a corporate thing charging as much as they can get away with. Bakery and deli just aren't as fresh as they used to be.

I've been coming to this location since the 90s. Always loved their store, they always have such great deals. I feel the store is unique, and stands apart from Stater bros and the others in the area. The maangers pretty cool. Their service at the deli counter is always quick. Worth coming here for their selection of produce too.

I hadn't been in this location for a couple of years until this morning. So, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have opened a bakery/deli department. It smelled incredible. The French bread was warm and freshly baked. I stopped in for heavy whipping cream, which there was none of so I had to go by another store. The cashier was not the most pleasant person. The conveyer belt at the register was ABSOLUTELY FILTHY. I didn't want to place my bread on it.

Shopping at this particular branch. I had a bad experienced with a unsuitable employee for any place. March 4th.assuming I don’t speak the native language they tried to make me feel second class costumer. Too bad for Vons family. Having individuals with a total lock of courtesy. To said the least. Anyway I am a member for several years
