Chiming in here for a shout-out the the Yucca Valley Home Depot service team and cashiers. We have remodeled four homes in the area, and have had nothing short of amazing experiences at this location. The customer service desk employees are all knowledgeable, most have worked there a long time, and can handle quick returns on multiple cards, purchases, and online and in-store orders (this sometimes gets complicated and they all handle it with speed). The paint department is amazing with long-time employees also. Home and Garden Center is well-stocked with a nice separate entrance and exit, like all Home Depot's. Tuff Shed representative is knowledgeable also. Cashiers are fast and friendly and always have dog treats. We have special-ordered windows and appliances, all without a hitch. I feel grateful that this store is in the area to accept in-store orders also, this is a revelation when you are unable to ship to the job site for any reason.

I have been there at least twice a week because I am doing remodeling to my home. Majority of the time I can't find an associate to help. If they are available they have an attitude and I can't get an answer. Cashiers are rude.

I went in to the store this morning to buy a water heater. I did have a rebate coupon. Customer service was great when I told them about it. I went to a few different departments and the associates were great. The store was clean . I live in Palm Springs and I wish I could shop at this one all the time. I give you guys a ten to management to associates. Thank you for making the transaction on the water heater so easy . Thank you

Had a great experience here on 12/20/23. My Christmas tree died. I had to remove all the decorations and bring it back to the store,but the manager allowed me to exchange it for a new one. I believe her name was Maria. Amazing. Made my holiday. And Joshua who helped me with the tree was awesome. His coworker, whose name I forget, even found one ornament that I had missed and left on the tree!! Thanks, guys. Really great experience.

My husband and I placed a window order with Home Depot in January 2023. The man who came to our house to go over the window order with us was helpful at the beginning. When we signed the contract the day he was there, we also paid a deposit. We then reached out to our contact at Home Depot to ask more questions about their window installation process and to request a window schedule invoice. We asked multiple times for this information and never received an email/paperwork with a comprehensive breakdown of windows purchased as well as service/labor costs. After several rude phone calls and in the end, being told we were not entitled to this information, we decided we wanted to forgo the windows and services from Home Depot. The overall negligent nature of the transaction and the provided information led us to feel uncomfortable working with them. We spent hours over multiple weeks on the phone with various people, trying to get to the bottom of what windows and services we paid for. The only information we received was an invoice with an overall total, with no cost breakdown of any kind. After being told there was nothing that could be done to help us, we politely requested instead of a full refund, that we simply receive a store credit for the deposit made. We were months behind on our house project at this point and needed to move forward. In the end, we were forced to forgo the $2,445 deposit because we were told we could receive no help. The overall process felt very negligent and put frankly, shady. We only hope that this doesn't happen to anyone else who is trying to be informed about a high-value purchase that they make at Home Depot.

The sales staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I renovated our inlaw quarters, and was there so many times, I think they knew what I needed when I walked in.

August 3, 2023 we bought almost $600 dollars of cactus plants. Our cashier Yoli graciously added everything up and double checked some of the prices that seemed high. Yoli went out of her way to assist us and made the whole experience enjoyable. Hope to see her again on my next Home Depot visit.

Is this a SCAM?! We paid, IN FULL, for all new windows (only 1 window needed custom sizing) and a sliding glass door last year 2022. We scheduled the installation for the beginning of 2023 and the sales person dropped the ball somewhere and the installers came short of 2 windows and brought a broken door! The install team was great and this review is not about them BUT BRETT WEEDA the sales guy and the Project Manager KELLY CRIBBS should be fired! Every phone call I have to explain who I am and they talk to me in Home Depot acronyms like I'm supposed to understand the order form lingo? Then they say they are gonna call me and my wife back and they don't. I have left messages and still, after 6 months I do not have all my windows and doors that we paid for! The GM better call me. What a rip off, scam, and disappointing service. Shaking my head at this! What's my next option? Law suit???!!!! No one is getting back to us. Do yourself a favor and pay someone local instead. This has been a nightmare!

What a rip off, scam, and disappointing service. Shaking my head at this! What's my next option? Law suit???!!!! No one is getting back to us. Update: They are sending John to measure for new windows because no one knows what happened to 2 out of 9 windows and still no word about the broken door. To be determined how this goes...

This is the first time I've used HD for any "service" they provide. I'm trying to get flooring installed in my house - flooring came in damaged - which I found out because I called. Flooring should have come in July 5th but they "don't know where it is" - which I found out because I called. No return calls. No one is picking up at the flooring desk. I've had to actually go in the store in person to get response - even then I end up waiting and waiting while they page someone. Installing company isn't calling. Home Depot isn't calling. No one is sending texts. No one is sending emails. Zero proactive communication and no reactive communication. This is so unprofessional. I say that as a construction professional/project manager of 15 years. Get it together, y'all. UPDATE: After being on hold for 17:31 I got Kelli at the store who called around and found my carpet. We will see when I get a call for install.

I have never known Home Depot to be so unhelpful. We ordered cabinets from them and they never showed. I've had to go in and ask for updates because I wasn't getting updates from anyone. Then every time I've gone in and asked, they don't have an answer. No date when they will arrive, or even where they are. Guess we are waiting on the vendor,and they can't contact the vendor or find anything out. Meanwhile my lob is at a standstill waiting for this vendor to get his s#@% together and deliver my cabinets. Guess because they are paid in full there is no rush on their part. They've been paid... I just hope the order is correct cause if anything has to go back. I'll never get this job done.

I feel the plants at Home Depot are overpriced. When Home Depot does have a sale, I am disappointed that it is only for five days? Don't most stores run an ad for at least a week? Also, living in the high desert for over 50 years, I see many plants that they have for sale that definitely will not survive our climate, so why do they have them for sale? Their return policy is only for 90 days, so often you will not know if your plant will survive when the weather changes.

Order online. The customer service is dreadful. Employees will hover near the registers and not communicate if they are on/off duty (Allison & Lori specifically we're absolutely no help-- doing their best to avoid any contact). Sara is consistently an awesome employee, management may want to observe staff that needs to pick up the slack. There's no use in paying someone who's not benefiting your business.

Linda in the Garden Center was Incredibly helpful. She helped us get what we needed for our tree and gave tips on a successful planting. We always look for her whenever we visit as we work on our property. Every time I visit this Home Depot all the employees are incredibly polite. It reminds me of being back home. Thanks for all the hospitality.
