I have had a fantastic experience at Blue Barn Ranch. Kathi is an excellent trainer and most importantly a great person. She is so helpful and we will take as many classes as we can. The ambience and people are so welcoming and nice. It deserves ten stars.

I can't express how wonderful our experience at Blue Barn Ranch has been. The education we received as dog owners and the training our puppy underwent here far surpassed our expectations. Kathi, with her thoughtfulness, made us feel incredibly welcome and cultivated an atmosphere that left us eagerly anticipating training sessions every week.If you're uncertain about enrolling your dog in training, I wholeheartedly recommend choosing Blue Barn Ranch without hesitation. If you are looking for a dog trainer in the area of Yucca Valley, hands down blue barn ranch is the best. I am beyond happy and excited with the knowledge and guidance that has been given to my dog and I and we’re not even finished yet. I came to Kathi at a complete loss, defeated and did not know what to do for my dog Daisy. Daisy is a highly reactive dog who also has a bad habit of resource guarding. We discussed my goals I wanted to achieve and I’m finally starting to see the light to this long dark tunnel..Kathi introduced me to a slip collar, which has been the most useful and effective thing for Daisy. Nothing else ever worked until now. It’s not harmful to the dog when used properly - it’s the best thing for my girl. I was able to walk her next to another dog without her lunging and barking thanks to these tools, training and practice. Kathi is amazing and great at what she does, as well as everyone else at blue barn ranch. I’m so excited and thankful to see the great dog my Daisy can be. I will definitely be bringing my other dogs to her.

We (and our dog Moose) absolutely love Kathy at Blue Barn Ranch! We know that our pup is well cared for when we board him and he loves swimming in her pool in the summer!

I have had rescues and German Shepherd dogs for 50 years. I have had multiple trainers. One of the best EVER is Blue Barn Ranch. Your trainer has to be a good person first which Blue Barn Ranch is the best. Training is professional, caring, knowledgable and one of the best I have seen I have experienced. I am going back for advanced classes.

I cannot say enough good things about Kathi and her crew. When I drop my pup off I know he is in a safe and fun environment and I don’t have to worry about anything. I wouldn’t think about going anywhere else ?

I just want to share my experience and testimony here.I was married for 9years to my husband and all of a sudden, another woman came into the picture..he started hailing me and he was abusive but I still loved him with all my heart and wanted him at all cost…then he filed for divorce..my whole life was turning apart and I didn’t know what to do..he moved out of the house and abandoned the kids.so someone told me about trying spiritual means to get my husband back and introduced me to a spell caster…so I decided to try it reluctantly although I didn’t believe in all those things… then when he did the special prayers and spell, after 3days, my husband came back and was pleading..he had realized his mistakes i just couldn’t believe it,anyways we are back together now and we are happy..in case anyone needs this man, his Email

We took our dog Magnus for training. It was a great experience for all of us. Magnus learned so much. He also loved the training. Best thing we could have done!

I searched everywhere for where I was going to take my anxious, reactive dog for training, I decided on Blue Barn Ranch and I'm so happy I did. Kathi is knowledgeable, kind, and most importantly has my dog's best interests in mind. He isn't going to be fixed overnight but she is giving us the tools and practice to help him become a happier dog. We're looking forward to continuing training and having a safe place to board in the future.

I have a 4 month old puppy that I wanted to start training. Kathi and Blue Barn Ranch have great reviews so I asked her to put me on a waiting list for some 1:1 training. What a surprise when she had an opening. She's friendly, kind, patient, she loves what she does. I got to meet Brave and Brim and what wonderful dog gos they are. After completing a 5-session course with my reactive dog, I have seen significant and steady improvement in my dog's behavior. I have learned tools to help my dog be more comfortable in situations with other dogs. I now know how to properly introduce my dog to new dogs, and lots of new commands and training tools that have been extremely helpful in making my dog not only less reactive, but also more calm and engaged. Although it might take time to get in for training, boarding, day care, etc- the reason is because they are so good at what they do. Kathi is knowledgeable, patient and understanding- she made me feel secure about every new activity we did. Highly recommend!

When we rescued our 3 year old dog from a shelter we took him to Kathi at Blue Barn Ranch. He didn’t have any training when we first reached him, and he has learned so much since we started training here! Especially as a larger dog and living in a busy neighborhood we knew he needed to have more than just the basics. Kathi knows what she’s doing and we’re very happy we took our dog to work with her. We also board our dog with Kathi every time we leave town since we know he’ll be taken care of very well while we’re away. Thank you!!

Sounds of Silent Spirits animal rescue gives Kathy a-resounding FIVE star rating. Kathy was able to to an assessment on a very agitated rescue pup for us. This dog was terrified of men. The dog reacted aggressively! Kathy, worked with us to learn the dogs limits.Kathy was also willing to board the dog as well!Kathy and John run a immaculate kennel too!We are grateful to have such a professional and experienced trainer in our world of rescue- Sounds of Silent Spirts volunteers
