Moved to 29 Palms a couple of weeks ago and found Angel View. Bought a pretty lamp with bulb for $5. Chico top for $7 and willow basket for $1.99. Huge selection of clothing and housewares. Missed out on 2 chairs for $20-gotta go back every week!

Three stars because I’ll keep going here but only because there are so few thrift stores in the area. Likely a crutch this store uses to sell pretty pricey clothes and home goods. Moved from WA state and walk into any Goodwill or Salvation Army and you’ll get a larger selection for cheaper. Staff have been nice some days and indifferent other days which I don’t mind.

I like shopping there. I get lucky and find something at a decent price.
I have noticed that the books got way more pricey. I think the priceing gun is stuck on 3.99 on things that should be .99-1.99.
The workers are pretty nice.

They suck and are extremely picky for items being DONATED!! I’m LOCAL 4th Gen Cali, 30 years here in this neck of California! Been storing LOADS of junk apparently, to Angelview!!

Always have such great finds here!! Every time I have come they always have a really good selection. This is a great little thrift shop. It's not over expensive like all of the vintage shops around too

Staff is super very friendly, great music and vibes, and LOTS of clothing and knick knacks. I found like 5 awesome fun clothing pieces last time I went in! Some prices are great, some things are incredibly overpriced for a thrift store. They do have a changing room as well. For example, I found an amazing Vintage North Face embroidered fleece pullover for $7.50!! Amazing. I also found a spatula I wanted and it was $5.... LOLYou can find great things but you need to be patient and thorough!

Why is this Angelview location twice as expensive as other Angelview locations in Palm Springs and Palm Desert? Because they think the tourists from LA won't notice. Locals beware!

Angel view is becoming a clothing only thrift store. Yay, another used clothes store in the Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree area. Must be a dozen now. Nowhere to buy new clothes accept for Walmart. The more gentrified it gets here, the more ghetto.

Guy at donation door was a real tool. "We don't take this..we don't take that".. It's a donation/thrift store..seriously? Everything I brought in was in good/ re-sellable condition. I took it down to Desert Hot Springs..no problem.

Here I thought they wanted donations but apparently I was SUPER mistaken. The blonde haired hippie Jesus lacks anything somewhat similar to customer service, honestly it’s fine guess you didn’t need brand new free things soooo cool cool.
