We purchased our 2002 Vista from Poptop Heaven about a dozen years ago. The purchase process went smoothly and was a positive experience. We have enjoyed numerous trouble-free road trips over the years and our Vista has proven very reliable.
We recently got into a traffic accident and took it to Poptop Heaven to get the repairs done. Jeff and his service dept did great job on the repairs. Looks great! We are very pleased. :)
Also the cooler box on my Weekender stopped working. After spending much time trying to fix it myself, I took it to Jeff and he got working in about 20 minutes! A++

see my previous review--this is an update. Finally got my vehicle back from a warranty repair on april 28. They had it for 5 MONTHS. when I picked it up, the generator wouldnt start. they tried to tell me to 'bring it back monday'. How about....no? After some phone calls and fiddling, the mechanic on site did get it running. my guess is they never ran it (a generator should be run under load once a month or so to keep everything from getting varnished up) while it sat for months in their care. Happy to have my baby back, and so far so good on the three trips ive taken since then, except minor things that I am willing to fix myself, despite this being sold as a 'fully reconditioned' vehicle. (one cabinet came disconnected from the ceiling-- the wood that the ceiling bracket screwed onto had disintegrated, and the plastic track mount for one of the drawers is broken. nbd, but these small things should have been found and repaired during the many months it took for the initial rehab, their exaggerated claims of 'thouroughness', and the amount I paid for the vehicle. I paid more and bought from them, instead of a private party, to avoid the tinkering that comes with a vehicle of this age. so much for that. I am happy with it, but could have paid about 10-15k less from a private seller and dealt with most likely a similar amount of trouble.

After a very long week and plenty of issues, I finally received the van. It looks absolutely beautiful. I look forward to using the van and hopefully having positive experiences with pop top heaven moving forward.

Our beloved 2002 VW EVC Winnebago is a PopTop Heaven Eurovan. She's still going strong at 162,000 miles, and we plan to drive her around the country for at least another 100-200,000 more! Mary, Jeff and the rest of the team are truly passionate about what they do, and know all the ins/outs and work-arounds when it comes to these old, quirky, but lovable campervans. And they've helped us out of a bind more than once where other mechanics have failed. But be forewarned, their services are highly sought after, so it's not unusual for them to be booked weeks or months in advance! Even so, they're generous with their knowledge and genuine in their mission to keep these truly special and rare vehicles on the road. --We're really surprised by the couple of judgmental 1-star reviews here, from people who aren't even really true and returning PopTop Heaven customers - those people hysterically crying out "1-star!" just don't get it. Since VW stopped selling campervans in the US in 2002/3, the only ones available here in the states are old, have obsolete parts, and are likely showing 100K+ miles on the odometer! PopTop Heaven performs miracles everyday bringing these vans back to life and keeping them running, considering. Like any old car, Eurovans need lots of love and maintenance to keep them going. Sheesh, if you want shiny-new-absolute-perfection, go plunk $150K on a Sprinter and quitcherbitchin'. VWs are a lifestyle choice, and driving a VW camper on the open road is the best feeling in the world. Life's too short. Enjoy the ride.

I love me some pop tops and this place has em. They fully recondition making each one like new. These puppies are hard to get your hands on since VW stopped importing them. Definitely the Swiss Army knife of camping.

We purchased a 2005 Rialta from Pop Top Heaven in October 2020, it was supposed to be refurbished around May 2021. Due to circumstances completely outside of PTH control (Covid), we finally received it in October 2021. We absolutely LOVE this RV!! The job they did on this 16 year old vehicle is incredible, everyone who looks at it thinks it’s new. The attention to detail was very good and we’ve enjoyed our nights spent so far in the Rialta. Mary was great to deal with and kept us pretty informed throughout the process. The service manager/Jeff was great to work with after delivery as we had them install a new audio system and backup camera. Probably should have had that done during the refurb, but after taking a few trips we had a better idea what we wanted. I’m sure you can pick up a Rialta or camper van cheaper with owner promises that all is well, but the product that comes out of Pop Top Heaven is high quality.

Great helpful staff. Knowledgeable mechanic, Jeff. Went above and beyond answering all my questions and addressing my concerns. Got a transmission cooler installed, flush and serviced. Also a drive belt. There is no price on peace of mind when I'm driving back roads and dirt roads alone. Thanks!

We purchased a 2002 Eurovan for $60,000, included their Premium package. We have had nothing but problems with the van since it was delivered. Supposedly it was gone thru thoroughly, including transmission & ignition switch. After less than 1500 mi we have had to replace the ignition switch & have the transmission rebuilt. All this at a total of about $7,000, which the extended warranty only covered $4,000. We have attempted to discuss all of our problems with Mary but have gotten nowhere. I have owned the van for 16 mo. - it took 5 mo. to get it from Pop Top Heaven, I was able to use it for 4 mo., & it's been in the shop for 7 mo. I have gotten no response from Pop Top Heaven. Numerous phone calls & emails sent to Mary. Supposedly the last email was forwarded to Chris, the owner. But I have heard nothing back. We don't believe the van was gone thru thoroughly, as promised in their sales pitch. We would never recommend this company to friend or foe. Maybe they should change their name to Pop Top Hell.

Recently Pop Top Heaven sold our 2002 full Eurovan camper on consignment for us. This was our 8th VW camper (we purchased the '02 from PTH 10 yrs ago with only 3000 miles on it). Sales manager Mary Burke and co-owner Chris Nelson through the years always made themselves available despite sometimes overwhelming national demand and keeping up with an ever changing inventory. They've always been there to give advice on misc repairs and parts. Their mechanics, notably Jeff, have forgotten more than most know about these vehicles. As years go by there are less and less qualified mechanics to service and restore these vehicles. PTH is a very unique successful organization founded by Kyle. It's been a pleasure to do business with them.

I bought a reconditioned 2001 Rialta from PTH, and am very happy with it. It took longer than originally stated, but I bought it at the height of Covid and don't hold them responsible for manufacturing and shipping delays. The vehicle looks brand new, inside and out. My mechanic checked it out and said I have a great engine in there. Good communication, very informative and responsive post-purchase support.
