What a rip off! Dropped off my WORKING car 4 years ago, my car sat there for 2 years with the hood up so all my pipes and wiring got messed up he told me he was closing down his one shop and told me to tell the car to my house until he moved in to another shop. He told me once he got in the shop he would tell the car back to the new shop and finish repairing it. It has been 2 years more and my car is not running and he refuses to get it towed back to his shop and fix it so it's been a total of 4 years with my car not working.

What a rip off! He told me once he got in the shop he would tell the car back to the new shop and finish repairing it. Always helpful and an honest family business. I used to drive 50 miles out for my old mechanic I was going to for many years I was very loyal to but Paul and his family has shown me there are still some honest mechanics left. Glad to finally go to someone local.

I have nothing but great things to say! They changed my breaks four different times to figure out the problem, staying motivated and dedicated to fixing the issue. They never overlooked my needs for other customers and welcomed be back with open arms. They never overcharged me and their labor is VERY reasonably priced. The owner Paul is one of the best small business owners I've ever met. He cares about his customers like they're his friends. 10/10 recommend, thank you J&S!

The fuel pump on my Passat died on the way to AZ, on a Friday. I called around to a few places in Yucaipa and J & S said that they could get to the car on Monday morning so I left it there. Called them Monday and most of Tues with no luck. Their phone line was busy or rang endlessly. I returned Tuesday afternoon to find they had done nothing. Told them I was taking the car elsewhere. While I was returning a rental car they "looked" at the car to determine what was wrong so they could charge me $110 for NOTHING! That's some serious chutzpah.

Hands down the best automotive repair shop in the county. Paul and his team are extremely professional and knowledgeable. Had my vehicle up and running by next day. Had a tough catalytic converter issue, first time customer and could not have been more impressed! They were friendly, informative and helpful. Exactly what you need when it comes to car repair. J&s auto repair is a crap auto business I brought my car in early March 2021 for a timing issue.i had bought everything brand new that they needed to do the job.i got the car back a couple of weeks later thinking my car was gonna be fixed the engine light came back on the day I got it back.we checked the engine light now I have 2 problems that came up wich was the timing issue still and a p02188.they said they were gonna fix it. So I dropped off my car on June 2nd to get it fixed.they told me they had to reset my PCM to fix the codes.we rest the PCM Wich took care of the timing problem but not the p02188.then they tell me I have an exaust leak from my v band clamp spent $60 for new clamp still have same issue.then they tell me it's a camshaft sensor Wich it wasn't cause I still have the same issue.then they proceed to tell me I need new camshafts so I bought new camshafts Wich still didn't work.so I went and bought a brand new head they rebuilt the whole top have of my engine with everything brand new from the dealership thinking my car was gonna run perfect.i got the car back in the beginning of October cause they said they fixed it finally but that's not the case cause a day later my car now has 5 engine codes that came on now. I told them my car was leaking oil now and it has an exhaust leak so I drop it off again so they can fix it...they sat on it for another 2 weeks didn't fix the oil leak or the exhaust leak...so now we're in the middle of October they still had my car so I went down there and took my car back cause they obviously didn't know what they were doing.they have no communication skills,I've had to drive down there 1 or 2 times a week to find out what was going on with my car...and Everytime Paul told me my car would be ready on Friday then on Monday this happened for months and my car was never ready.they wanted to charge me $4200 for a car they never fixed but caused me more problems and then cut the price to $1500 like they were doing me a favor.
