fast and good prices for an emergency tire replacement after my car blew out on the highway

I went there for a spare tire, I paid $50, I got on the highway and as I hit 53 mph, the whole front end begin to shimmy. I returned to gateway tires, it appears two of the steel radials in the tire were damaged. The serviceman apologized.
Unacceptable service, however, the manager told me to have it replaced at another shop and he would give me a full refund. That was pleasant customer service, but the tire service itself put my life at risk on the highway. Extremely negligent and if that was the cause of an accident God forbid, gateway tires would have had a big fancy lawsuit on their hands.
I would not recommend Gateway tires, STAY AWAY!
FYI I received fantastic service at Gerry's tire service, just a mile and a half up the boulevard and their price was $40 which included balancing the tire. (Something gateway tires never considered doing)
Leaving only one star so I could post this review.

This place was great! Noticed my tire picked up a screw and was slowly losing air. Looked around for local shops. These guys had the best rating so I called to see if they could get me in. Not only were they ready for me when I got there, the price was very reasonable, and everyone was super friendly. I found a new tire shop. Thanks guys!

I have been going to Gateway Tires for over 10 years now and have not had any problems with tires since I found them. This is the best place to get your tires taken care of. I have a Toyota supra turbo which shops usually make excuses to not work on like it is too low or you need camber bolts that are new to do an alignment. Gateway Tires does not make those lies. They make sure your car is safe because they care about people more then money. Arnold and Manny are honest and hard working. I have no doubts about the work that they do to my car. My tires are always put on and maintained by Gateway Tires, I will not have it any other way as long as they are there. They have the best prices and quality work with the best deals on tires. One less thing for me to worry about these days.

Took my truck in for some gasket replacement. They missed some of the work I ordered. I showed them what was missed and they made it right without any hesitation or argument.Helpful staff, friendly service writer.People make mistakes. They owned the mistake and corrected it with dignity and respect.I will return

this is my first time here. I had a large screw in my tire and needed to get to an app't soon. I stopped in and they were very busy but my tire guage on my dash concerned me that I was unable to go any further so I expected to wait. when they greeted me they would - work work me as soon as feasible - and they sure did. honestly i was out of there in 15 min and I truly appreciated their quick service to my tire. most places would have you wait 1-2 hours or more to "work you in" so I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Them! and will most definitely go back again and again!
