I Bank there but I wish there was another US Bank in Marysville or live oak or ATM somewhere and Yuba City not just that one Bank in that big city that we live in yeah I like my bank

I went in to the bank to set up a CD with a banker with the intention of it only being for one to two years. I was set to go overseas for the military - which i informed the banker of - and wanted to buy a house upon return. One year later, I find out somehow it was opened for four years and a terrible rate (after initially believing it had been a one year that just rolled over into a bad rate). Given that I had gone in to work with a banker to AVOID this exact sort of situation, I called the branch hoping there might be some sort of solution given that I'd gone in person to avoid this exact sort of situation. Not only did the manager start our conversation by telling me how busy he was - which I believe - but he overall made it seem like he could not care less. Despite the fact I mentioned working with a banker, that I was military and that I clearly communicated all my intentions at the time, he was rude and curt. He told me that even if I worked with a banker, I needed to learn to read the terms and conditions - which while fair, was said extremely rudely. It's my fault for trusting what the banker I'd initially worked with told me, I suppose. He also told me if he made an exception for me, he'd have to make an exception for everyone else, which is a) hyperbolic and b) condescending. Everyone's situation is different and in the case of an error like this, there should be SOME flexibility. Shouldn't I be able to go in to a bank and trust that the banker is competent enough I their job to help as asked? If not, why even bother going in to the bank at all?!Given my conversation with the manager and the issue resulting from working in person with a banker, I would never recommend this bank. I'm not blameless; I shouldn't have trusted the banker completely (despite it being his literal job) when he coached me through everything. That said, I'd hope that unique situations would be treated a little better than how mine was. Rude management and incompetent workers should be enough of a deterrent to anyone else looking to bank here.I wish I could say kinder things, given that I've been a US Bank customer for almost my entire life, but this was just too much. Once the CD matures, I'll be looking to close all my accounts with this bank.

This is the 2nd time my bank account has had suspicious activity first time someone changed my email and phone number linked with account so I had to get new card etc 1 year later and currently have a charge on my card that is from a store in Spain lady said which I never made needless to say I'm done with this branch will be going to a bank with better security this is ridiculous 2x to have suspicious activity

This bank is disrespectful, unprofessional and prejudice. My son went into this bank to open an account so he could transfer his money over from Bank of America (due to issues he was having). Not even 3 minutes after entering the bank (while standing in line) he was approached by a gentlemen telling him that he needed to leave. When my son tried to tell him that he was there to open an account due to problems he was having with Bank of America the gentlemen replied "we can't help you. You need to leave before I call the police and have you escorted off the premises."A few months later my son walked into the bank to inquire as to why they refused to let him bank there and immediately upon entering he was met by the same gentlemen telling him the same thing as before. "Why am I not allowed to bank here?"he asked"Leave now! I will not tell you again." he replied. This bank has no business being open.I would never recommend banking at this location to anyone. Very unprofessional.My rating is actually -5 stars

I received a settlement check that was issued by US Bank. To AVOID waiting days for the check to clear in my bank account or pay the sky high rates of a check cashing company I went to US Bank to cash THIER check. The teller asked if I have an account and I said no. The teller says if you don't have an account with Us then there is a $7 fee to cash THIER own check!!!?? Thats not gonna make me want to open an account

No reflection on the staff, but my experiences at this branch this last week have been the worst I've ever had at a bank. A week ago, the ATM outside the front door took my card and wouldn't give it back. A staff member helped me the best she could. Turns out the bank has no control over the ATMs. They're handled by an outside company. She canceled my card and issued me a temporary one. Later that day, I was called by a bank rep. who said the ATM had spit out my original card and somebody turned it in. That card got canceled immediately after I used it. So, I had to go back to the bank and get YET ANOTHER temp. card. An hour ago, I went to deposit another check, this time at the drive through ATM, using the temp. card (which had been working fine since I got it). Everything was going fine until it gave me my receipt. The ATM got stuck at that point. It wouldn't do anything else. AND IT STILL HAD MY CARD AND WOULDN'T SPIT IT OUT! i called US Bank. As nice as the young lady was, she couldn't help me although she tried her best. All she could do is cancel YET ANOTHER card. The ATM company couldn't do anything either except shut that ATM down.

This is the worst u.s. bank branch I have ever dealt with. I had an issue with the branch manager He told me to leave . before I gather my stuff he was calling the police.in retaliation he not only closed my account he close my mother's account who was not even involved and she's 80 years old and disabled. She is so stressed out over this she having trouble breathing . If the manager has a issue with me deal with me don't use a elderly woman.

Customer service is awful. They literally told us we need to use their ATM rather than their tellers. I've never had a bank be so antagonistic.

Tried depositing money into my mother's account. They told me they would not do it. They have done it in the past. Waited in line for 15 minutes as they slowly helped the 1 customer in front of me. Told me I could go to ATM outside and deposit the money. I have deposited money into her account with other branches but the people at this branch are lazy. If you like slow lazy customer service people this is the branch for you. Straight worthless people at this branch. Will never use worthless US Bank. Disgusting. Definitely not there for the people. Just there to try to make money off you any despicable way they can.

Very rude and unhelpful staff here. The atm ate my card and I asked for the info on the atm so I could contact the owner of the machine and they said they don't have that information. If you rent the machine from the company you should have that info. I tried to talk to the manager and they said he stepped out. I called and left myu name and number for the manager and he never called. I just want the number from the atm so I can call them and get my card back. Im disabled and it's just before Christmas and I have no money now. I can see from a lot of the comments on this banks posts that they been having trouble. I will make sure to let everyone I know that banks here, that this branch is going under and to not bank here
