I'd give the store's salon a negative five stars if able. Upon making an appointment for 1.25 hours online, I was told that I was incorrect and rudely asked, "What makes you think you have me for that long?" Sorry you are miserable at Ulta, Mary. Maybe get a new job. I had to walk out because all of them are so damn rude. Don't waste your time here and go to Super Cuts.

If I could give this ulta zero stars I would. I've been here twice for products and all of which were old dried out and faulty. All the glamnetic eyeliner is old and dried up and I've been there twice to have to return because didn't think all their products were like this. On top of that the Fenty beauty lipstick was also not the consistency it's supposed to be so they definitely don't store these products properly at all which is super dangerous. The store itself is filthy with actual black stuff on the floors and all over the products and walls. All the sample products are disgusting and litterally completely fallen apart and look filled with bacteria. Eyeshadows and lipsticks colors all mixed together and covering the displays And the workers walk around like there is nothing to be done. Do your job guys. That's disgusting you go to work everyday to see this and also sell these products.

Casey was a big help today. Im older, and wear only a little make up. Sometimes when I've walked into Ulta and if I'm not all decked out to the nines I'm ignored. Casey was working today. She took the time to Not only show me but also teach me the best way to apply the concealer. Kudos kiddo! Keep up the good work!

An associate asked if I needed help I asked for a shampoo which I know they carry but she led me to vitamins and insisted they don't carry it. I found the product on my own after. The associate then asked another employee and she said yeah we have that it's over there. The first associate then screamed "hey lady" across the store at me and told me to "come here now". I asked what she wanted. she explained that they happened to find the product. I told her I had already found the product they didn't carry and I was no longer interested. The associate was extremely rude and couldn't accept that she was wrong. Then while checking out I asked if the associate could order a product for me since they were out in store. She acted as if it was an inconvenience and told me she couldn't that I could just go online and do it myself. I'll never be going back.

This was my first time visiting an Ulta today. I really, really wanted to have someone help me with color matching a foundation. Do they not do that here? I walked around the cosmetics section for about 10 minutes. There were plenty of employees. They weren't assisting customers. Some seemed to be working on a display. Not ONE person asked if I needed help. Not one. Hello! Here I am! I have money to spend! Help me? Please?

The employees at the Yuba City Ulta are rude and the store closes super early at 7p.m. they should be staying open until at least 8 p.m. (I work until 6p.m. and some of us work for a living) and by the way the Roseville Ulta is open until 8!!! When you come in at 6:30 they have a bad attitude and rush you out even 15 min before they close and it was as if it was an inconvenience for them that you are shopping there ....You might as well close at 6:30 or better yet, don't open your doors until you want to have customers in your store.. I don't expect them to stay in business at that specific Yuba City location and it's because of their poor customer service overall..It's too bad because I love shopping for makeup and stuff but now I will be doing my shopping elsewhere ..

i wont shop at this store or company again. the associates either ignore you, or are rude. the company policy with regards to returns is just crazy. you must sign up and use their loyalty program to get your money back. even with a receipt. for people who only go there a couple times a year, or just don't want to give their personal info out, receipts, should be enough. i wont be back.

If you order pick up products, make sure you have your photo ID on you. This is literally the only store I've had to show an ID for pick up for an order. So ridiculous. Stick to Sephora

Mary did my hair. I sat down, and she asked what I want. I started thinking and I started to describe the hilights I wanted, and the words that ended up coming out of my mouth were, "I just want to be sparkly." Somehow, Mary knew exactly what I meant. She transformed my hair and did a beautiful color. She was kind and thoughtful and we had fun together. She is a nice lady and a POPPIN hairdresser. A hair doctor with great bedside manner.

I'm very frustrated to say the least. I made a hair appointment to get color and cut 6 hours in advance. I get a call from someone 1 hour before my appointment telling me that it needs to be canceled because they close at 6pm. Why would the time be available if it really isn't available? (4:15pm was my scheduled service). I then call back to just get a cut instead. They said they would call me back once the girl got off of her break. She never did. You'd think from all of the complaints this store receives that the DM would re-train that staff!

My experience at Ulta Beauty. I started off working at Ulta and found what I already knew was my true passion and pathway. Like most jobs there was a lot of drama and gossip. Between my home life and work it got to a point where my anxiety literally would not let me come to work because of the catty and sometimes bullying high school behavior. In the end I was let go and I admit I did not handle the situation as I now know I should have. It was a learning experience and leaving even what was a somewhat abusive environment was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I tried to move on but unfortunately a reputation that wasn't entirely accurate followed me to the next job. At that point I gave up and as hard as it is to admit I was done with life and didn't think I would ever be able to be happy. That's when my family stepped in to help me open my eyes and see that my potential was vast and going to school was the best opportunity and thing to happen to me. I found a way to continue my learning and as painful as that all was. It was a blessing in disguise. Now I live in a town where the closest Ulta is about an hour drive. I shop at Ulta OFTEN because it is part of my career, school and life. I went in a few times to grab things after being let go and was treated horribly. So I thought if I let years go by that maybe eventually I would at least get treated with the respect any person off the street or customer would get. Well yesterday I decided to give it a try and get my hair done. This manager along with with a few others were speaking so loudly about me and laughing it even made the stylist uncomfortable. Here is the thing I don't need you to be my best friend or even say hello, but why do you feel the need to tear people down? At what point will you realize that we are in an industry that women need to lift each other up and stick together. You never know what someone is going through and I just hope you understand that your actions could potentially push someone over the edge to hurt themselves. I'm lucky to be strong enough to know my worth now,but maybe you should take a long hard look at yourself and see the example you create.
