The employee Sania in yuba city (I believe that is her name) Is extremely overbearing. From the moment my boyfriend and I walked into this ulta location I felt the judgement and assumptions from the employee Sania based off our looks. I was informed that ulta & sephora employees will follow you around and "bug" you when they have a suspicion of stealing. about 10 minutes of shopping around and trying to find a new foundation the employee Sania approached me asking me If I needed help, I told her yes because I needed help with a color match, She helped but during that she asked me multiple unnecessary questions about my age, If I have an account with them, and what I usually buy from there. After that she told me once I wait in line to come to her at the register (mind you she was not on a register the entire time until she wanted to "help" me) Once I came to her register she practically demanded for my phone number, address, or ID. I was also using a giftcard for purchase so I didnt mind about earning points but she practically made me give her someform of identification . I felt as if I was being accused & listed as someone to "watch" in this store location. I will not be shopping from this store location ever again.

I came in to get some make up products for the first time in years. I enjoyed how I was able to browse freely. However, when I did ask for a foundation color match, the employee that helped me was barely any help. It was disappointing to see because there was another employee helping another customer, and she was doing a great job by taking her time to find the perfect match. I normally don’t write reviews but it was just a bad experience for me, especially when considering to purchase a $50 dollar foundation. Honestly could have done a better job doing it myself.

Customer service severely lacking. I'll pump it up to 2 stars because I did find what I needed despite the fact that I had NO assistance. It is a very large store; clean and neat. There were a few bare shelves, but overall, a decent selection of products. I pretty much had to search every shelf to find what I was looking for. A small brand. I was very surprised that no staff were on the floor. There were two ladies receiving make-overs and two cashiers (and only two customers checking out). I saw one person wheeling in some new stock, but even though I tried to make eye-contact, they didn't even acknowledge me. Customers in the store seemed to be there for recreation and not shopping. Finally, I have to mention the first time I visited this store was at the end of the pandemic and my husband was with me. We walked in and walked out. There was such an unbearable scent of perfume or room freshener, that neither of us could breathe! I did not experience that today, but mention it here because I didn't expect to return to this store. I MUCH prefer Sephora for the customer service and product selection--FAR superior.

I love this place. I don't go in often but when i do I'm excited at what I might find. Clearance is my favorite. But this year, I keep going in to claim my birthday gift but it's never available, they're always out. Kind of bummed about that. Hope I can get it before it expires.

Amazing service at the benefit counter!! I don’t trust anyone to do my eyebrows ! I had Charlotte do them and I was impressed! Definitely coming back.

Some of the staff is nice. However, I got my eyebrows done here for the first time and honestly I probably should have just waited to get them done because the rate they charge is much higher than any place I've been to. So if you want to get them done they can do it just you'll pay more for the same quality as a cheaper place. Overall I like ulta as a company.

They are always out of most of what I need. Once I waited months for them to restock an item. I have to drive to Roseville or Chico to get product. Not overtly friendly customer service either—typical teenagers.

I love Ulta and their selection of products. As a trans woman, I appreciate walking into a judgment-free zone, and their helping me find the perfect makeup for me. Thanks to Yuba City Ulta I was able to rock it and look fabulous for Pride 2023. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

When in on Easter Sunday around 2-2:30 with my cousin. My cousin was searching for an eyelash serum but couldn’t find where it was located so she went up to a group of 4 employees and asked where the serum was located. She said that they all turned to look at her at the same time, turned back around and ignored her. She was only able to catch one of their names and it was Simranpre, according to our receipt. She said that only one of the employees helped her out but we weren’t able to catch her name. We both love ulta but it is so disappointing when we’re met with such poor customer service. Please do better.
