They let my MINOR child sign up for an account WITHOUT PARENTAL PERMISSION and when he tried to close the account, they charged him a $25 FEE TO CLOSE THE ACCOUNT, and then CONTINUED TO CHARGE him monthly. After several requests to stop, I called the bank to BLOCK FUTURE PAYMENTS and they did - so Planet Fitness CHANGED THE NAME they were pulling under and CONTINUED CHARGING him. According to my bank, Planet Fitness is notorious for doing this. Ultimately, I had to CLOSE THE BANK ACCOUNT TO STOP THEM. This is absolutely ridiculous and they should be charged with theft!

Overall gym is great, no problem at all. but there is one guy working there who is so racist towards others and would talk to rudely. I wonder if there is dress code for gym because he sent me home for wearing a loose jogger. This is not the first time he has done this. It happened with my friends too.

I cancelled my membership because it was always dirty. This was about a year or two ago but it has been the worst planet fitness I have dealt with. Guests weren’t wiping down machines and employees weren’t doing so either. They were messing around behind the desk gossiping with each other. I cancelled my membership and when an email asked for a survey, I gave an honest review. A few days later a trainer from the facility called me all angry asking why I gave the score I did. First of all, I thought the surveys were anonymous and didn’t expect to be contacted nor did I sign up to be contacted. Second, why would a trainer think it’s okay to call me and angrily ask me questions about the survey while I am at work? I cancelled my membership, I no longer want to be associated with the gym. The policies are woke and cleanliness just isn’t there. They also make cancelling a membership nearly impossible and include fees unlike other planet fitness in the area. They also make you sign up with your bank account information because they don’t want you blocking charges with your credit cards.

Call this company multiple times letting them know that I have a job that's out of town far away I found out my card was being used yeah it was my kid but that's my responsibility to pay for the times I didn't know but when you call them and tell them the situation multiple times and then they give you an email which I emailed and they said that they never received it then she said well maybe you didn't enter the right email in well if that's why did I call multiple times asking for the email to stop them trying to get money out of my account they tried it time after time wouldn't go through too because I'm not paying for something we do not use had no time to go in I emailed them they said they never received the email the lady was just outrageously rude like try to be nice but talking s*** to me at the same time so I videotaped it what she said you can't do that that's illegal I'm not one of those people that like to go videotape people but when you start having attitude with me and acting like I'm stupid I will videotape you and honey you need to get your brain checked because unfortunately it's not illegal in a public place especially ones that have cameras. She had really bad customer service I have a video it was outrageous I wish that I video taped it from the get-go because in the beginning it was really bad. Haven't been to that gym once I think my daughter used it once and I paid for a gym membership for like 7 months trying to get them to cancel the membership. I've been dealing with this stuff way too long for them to be playing with me I can understand if it's a month but I called so many times within the last 6 months I'm going to try everything I can to get my money back and I'm not asking for all of it just the last payment had audacity tell me that I'm on a contract but I'm not I didn't sign up for it and if some company gets told about they should stop it automatically not just be hungry to make money anyway they can.

Having a gym that's open 24/7 is important to me during hot times because I walk to and from the gym.
The staff are always friendly and helpful, the gym and locker room are always clean, and the price for membership can't be beat!

I've been a member of this Planet Fitness for about six months, and unfortunately, the recurring issues have not been addressed. The staff is friendly and accommodating, but they seem to be left making excuses for the poor maintenance and unresolved problems that persist month after month.
**Pros:**
- The staff is friendly and great.
**Cons:**
- Almost all of the bikes, except the center one, have had problems since my first visit. Despite repeatedly informing the staff, these issues remain unfixed.
- The music in the locker room consists of spa/meditation sounds that are quite depressing and discouraging. This has also been reported to the staff but nothing has changed.
- The water fountain for filling up bottles has been broken for at least two weeks, causing long lines and inconvenience.
Overall, I will not be returning to this Planet Fitness, as it appears that the management/ownership does not know how to properly maintain the facility.
Update: I emailed the help email with no help. Very unhelpful and unpleasant experience with their "customer support "

Changed back to 2 stars. Management called me to explain that management has put in all the requests to corporate and corporate doesn't take care of any of the issues.

I’ve been a member of planet fitness for over a year now never had any issues with anyone except there was a new staff member short skinny guy with a glasses he was super rude to me i tried calling to report him to manager i don’t know if the manager gonna do anything about it. Anyway i am not going back until this dude is fired

I had the basic membership. I have brought my 13 year old in on multiple occasions , with no hassle. Today some worker in dreads decided to enforce the rules apparently. He didn't offer up any solutions. Saying my 13 yr old missed the cutoff for a highschool membership. There were no other alternatives mentioned and I felt as if pf didn't want my membership, so I cancelled my membership. On later reviewing of website I saw that there were options never mentioned by the worker with dreads and the manager that cancelled my membership. My 13 year old could have his own membership or I could have upgraded mine and been able to have a guest at any time. None of these were mentioned to me, so again I felt as if my membership was not wanted here for whatever reason. I might be paranoid but pf has always felt like a discriminatory type atmosphere. They apparently have an issue with a type of person that looks and acts a certain way. I believe the term they use "lunkhead". I don't plan on returning even though it is a popular est. Judgy atmosphere. Staff I've encountered (especially guy with dreads) made me feel judged and uncomfortable. I'm thinking Anytime Fitness. They seem like a decent gym.
