Rude, obnoxious, impatient. For a retail store to have more rude employees than polite ones is not a good sign for potential customers and when the manager of one department is just as bad as the employees, it's enough to warrant me never entering their door again. So, I cut up their CC valued at 6k.
I will spend that kind of money where I am treated in a welcoming manner, which won't be JCP.

Had to get a necklace fixed with the lifetime protection plan, bought the jewelry online, the Cashier in the store was very helpful with getting the right information needed to get my jewelry sent out to be fixed, I only had proof of purchase I didn't have the right email for the protection plan but she was able to call and figure out what info was missing.

Got it pluses and minuses. Used to like it a lot before. Maybe it was because we're talking about two separate locations. The one at Arden Fair Mall in Sacramento is better laid out.
The Yuba store is lacking because of it's small size.
Don't take my word for it. Look at it according to your personal needs. I will continue shopping here occasionally. I have always liked the savings and the look and fit on the Arizona men's jeans over Levi's. But that isn't true over the Lee Carpenter jeans. They have me sold on those, just not available at JC Penny.

First off the air conditioning was off in the store. The mall was cool but not in JCPenney's. But the main issue we had was when my wife went into the salon. A woman was in there dying someone elses hair. When my wife asked how long the woman only replied, 'it's going to be a long time'. Not, 'it's going to be 30 or 45 minutes', or suggesting she be with us then. She repeated this twice with a funny look on her face which I took to indicate she wasn't interested in cutting my wifes hair afterwords. We had product in our hands which we left behind. Never going into that store location again.
