I recently visited the Dollar General store and had an unfortunate experience with an employee named Karen. From the moment I entered the store, her unwelcoming attitude was apparent. She seemed annoyed to be there and made shopping feel like a chore rather than a pleasant experience.
When I asked for help locating an item, she rolled her eyes and pointed in the general direction with little interest. I also observed her being rude to another customer, which left everyone uncomfortable.
The store itself was disorganized, but Karen's lack of initiative to assist or even engage with customers only made it worse. Instead of feeling like a valued shopper, I felt like an inconvenience.
I left the store frustrated and disappointed. Customer service makes a huge difference in retail, and Karen clearly doesn’t understand that concept. I hope the management addresses this issue, as it tarnishes the shopping experience at Dollar General. I won't be returning anytime soon.

They were rude the moment I got there. The Employees followed me around making me feel I was doing something wrong by being there. One Employee showed me where the Spejetti sauce, mushrooms and olives we're, sne SO RUDE about it I wanted to leave because I felt SO UNCOMFORTABLE. I paid for my items as they all stood there watching me. I'm NOT A THEIF!! MAKE SURE YOU HAVE an idea of who you're are ASSUMING/ACCUSING OF SOMETHING. I WON'T GO BACK THERE AGAIN.

Not a Dollar store, a General store. When this company was founded a dollar was would have been quite a pretty penny (2023 standards, about $21 in 1939). Like a smaller version sion of Walmart, minus the free anxiety. While not a Dollar store, it is surprising how many things are around or under a dollar. Random, unexpected items like: A snow shovel, Mini-Fridge, and LED lights. If you are a couponer or deal enthusiast, get that app and check the flyers, new surprises every week. Also, the rumors are true: there are some random secret $0.01 deals.

I love taking my kids here! It’s a clean, organized place and I hope this location stays a little secret for a long time! I love to give my kids dollars that match their ages and see what kind of things they find.Great crafting things, cute new glass bumblebee and lemon glasses and plates and you can always find great deals on sponges, garden ornaments, and my kids favorite, their chalk and bubbles! Thank you!
