1005 Colusa Ave, Yuba City“Such a fun store. Tons of different candies. They have stuff for humans and animals alike. They have party supplies.....work.out goodies. Toys. Home decor. I love going here for gifts big and small. Most things are $5 or below. So you get a lot for your money. Great place to go before the movie”
“Just wanted to give a big thank you to Olivia for her outstanding customer service . Was looking for a fireplace entertainment piece and she went above and beyond, even loaded it in the rain. It’s people like this that deserve some recognition from the higher ups. Thanks again Olivia !!!!”
“Not a Dollar store, a General store. When this company was founded a dollar was would have been quite a pretty penny (2023 standards, about $21 in 1939). Like a smaller version sion of Walmart, minus the free anxiety. While not a Dollar store, it is surprising how many things are around or under a dollar. Random, unexpected items like: A snow shovel, Mini-Fridge, and LED lights. If you are a couponer or deal enthusiast, get that app and check the flyers, new surprises every week. Also, the rumors are true: there are some random secret $0.01 deals.”
“Staff members were very helpful and friendly. The cashier, Dona was very helpful and friendly ?. Said she and her coworkers were not getting paid enough and they wanted to start a union!!! Hahahaha ? just kidding ? ? ? ? ? She was very much to her self.”
“Great store has tons of cheap merchandise managers and great helped me with a return with no receipt and looks like they updated system to be able to look up with credit cards now!”
“I shop there first! I usually buy the Seasoned Fishes because it's reasonable, delicious, and healthy. Then I go to the meats; I won't buy chicken breast from anywhere else because they all have some slime on them but G.O. chicken is shiny and clear. Their produce is on par with WinCo, maybe not as much but a good selection. SNACKS! I stick to nuts, legumes, and other snacks that aren't made of wheat or potatoes. They have walnuts, pistachios, cashews; the first time I bought them there I was so overcome that I turned to the shopper on my left and said "Look at these nuts!" They have a BIG selection of supplements, personal care items, pans and plates and paper and plastic. Want kitchen gadgets? THEY HAVE THEM!
The reader should bear in mind that because their business model is built on buying large closeout lots, which means there aren't many regular item suppliers. That's why I go there first; to get 6 bags of groceries for less than $200. If I need anything specific that G.O. doesn't carry, then I'll trundle over to Big Blue.
I've actually expanded my cooking skills since I started shopping there regularly, cuz I find things that catch my eye (curried chicken, anyone?) or are too cheap to pass up. I don't drink, but if I did I'd be in heaven, or rehab, because their beer and wine selection is also outstanding.
Grocery Outlet is a company dedicated to helping their customers fight inflationary pricing while keeping their families healthy, with full tummies.
SHOP THERE NOW, YOU FOOLS!!!?”
