If I could give 0 stars, I would.This store is horrible with customer service because of one assistant store manager.I would not shop at boot barn.In yuba city and let her help you. Myra is the assistant store manager for yuba city boot barn.

Came in the other day and it was nice and quiet, no one bugged my husband and I and all the girls working were so nice! Maria especially for letting me use the restroom! Alexandria was so calm and kind the entire checkout process. Came back today and they were a little more busy. As soon as we walked in one of the managers was screaming asking what we needed help with and we walked by saying just looking. We found someone else to ask her if she could help me get my hat size and she had to ask someone else for a tape measure. While I waited for that I went to go look around and she came back and was asking what I was shopping for, what I needed what I like etc. It was a turn off so I brushed her off. Greg helped with my hat process but told us to just find my size by trying everything on so he didn't have to use the tape measure.. then tried to upsell us on cleaner because they get commission, and then followed us everywhere else we went. He was nice but that's also a turn off and not a good feeling. Alexandria helped again at the register and she is just the sweetest thing! I'm so glad she is there because otherwise I probably would have agreed with most of the reviews. The selection is very huge!

Always love shopping there. It's so much bigger and I love how many boot styles and varieties they have now.

One of the managers started speaking very loud to me. I asked her to please lower her voice. Maria was not the super rude manager. It was a thinner manager . I asked her to not yell at me. I asked her if she needed me to bring in my boyfriend because he paid the original purchase. She swung around and said " you just threatened me." I ended up just leaving without doing the exchange . The next day I came back after crying on the phone to Maria . I was glad I got to avoid the irrational aggressive managed the next day. I made a cute short purchase with a very friendly sales girl and was able to get boots that didn't rub. The clothes are so cute , but like other reviews say. There is some customer service issues with management. I was able to smooth it over , but wish I had not been so disrespected .

I personally have never left or felt the need to leave a yelp review going into a store, even when my experience hasn't been pleasant. But yesterday I went into Boot Barn to look around and wait for my friend to arrive, who is an employee at another store in the mall and has told me about the mall stores shop lifting protocols. I walked in and was greeted and before I was even out of ear shot, I could hear the lady who greeted me talking over the mic using the stores protocol to inform them that I was a potential shop lifter. Immediately there was at least 3 employees surrounding me and continuously asking if i needed anything, which I also know from my friend that there are rules for over greeting and pestering customers. I obviously knew something was off pretty quick but I just remained calm and continued looking at dresses. I found a dress I liked that didn't have a tag on it and asked for a price check, it was too much and so I left it behind the counter and was still bothered. I then looked at boots in my size and found a pair I had been looking for so I tried them on, and then went to look at boots in my friend that was joining me's size. I was followed into that section yet again and asked what I was looking for, for probably the 10th time at that point. The employee then asked if she could hold my boots for me which I obviously said yes, because I know ACCORDING TO PROTOCOL that they should stop following me. I was in the store for maybe 20 minutes total, including the time after my friend arrived. I was dressed well, smelt well, had my hair fixed and makeup done. The only thing they could have profiled me on was my age, 17, and the fact that I was carrying a tote bag. I have severe anxiety and being harassed while not doing anything remotely suspicious from the moment I walk in is enough to ruin this store for me. Like seriously guys get it together.

I came to this store a couple days ago, just killing time, and found a wallet I really liked to replace my 10 year old wallet that is falling apart. I didn't pull the trigger then, but came back today, and the wallet I wanted was gone! There was 2 the last time, but they must have been popular! I was on my way out and something told me to ask the cashier if they have wallets anywhere else, she said no, but said she would check in the back, if I could describe the wallet for her. She found one!!! I was very happy, and so very thankful for her taking those extra steps to help me out. I wish I could recall her name, as I'd like to thank her publicly, but I don't, sorry!!

As much as I LOVE their clothes,boots, bags etc. their employees could use some training on how to be a decent human being. One to reference in particular is Kylie brown. Every single time my husband and I go into this store and she helps us at the register she absolutely ignores my existence and proceeds to only look/and talk to my husband (about things that are in no relation to shopping or checking out... more of her personal life status). No acknowledgment to me at all whatsoever. Anyone who works in customer service KNOWS if you are a woman and you are helping a couple that you just as much include the wife or girlfriend in the conversation as much as the man. It's unprofessional to be chatting it up with the husband like it's another Sunday afternoon about your personal life AND on top of that to not acknowledge the significant other. feel disrespected. I will not be returning to this location.

The manger maria gave me attitude and also she gave me dirty looks right when i walked in the store . Also when i went to pick my boots up she brought the wrong boots out , also never even put my boots in a bag until i asked her too then i continued looking for a shirt and she asked me if i needed help like 5 times
