“Looking for butyl tape and cork tape for a pontoon boat project I Went to all the box stores ie Lowe's, Home Depot, and then went to pace plumbing. Lowe's and Home Depot has younger people that didn't know what I was talking about (this after hunting them down for 30 min). Pace was the typical pro place were the guy treated me like s*** because I didn't know exactly what I needed so my questions were met with rolled eyes. To top that of he gave a bunch of attitude when I said what he showed me wasn't what I was looking for etc. real a******* Then I went to Slakey bros. Gent behind the counter was not only patient, but knowledgeable and even after I was sold mentioned a different (cheaper) product that some of my project could use in lue of more expense material that wouldn't had worked as well. I'm a new home owner and will definitely be back for the exceptional service and knowledge. We are lucky to have businesses like Starkey bros. I'll pay for good service and knowledge! Thanks to the nice gent that helped me be successful on my pontoon project! Move to sutter! We need men like you.”
