Had a positive experience at Yreka self storage. Donna was very helpful and kind, and I felt safe and secure keeping my belongings here. Only stayed for a couple of months as I was finding new housing, but I was more than satisfied with services provided. Definitely would store here again.

Lots of pot holes to bring in and out your stuff and the automatic gate doesn't work all the time

I have had a unit here for 4-5 years and been working with Charlie and Donna the managers for about that length of time. I would not trust anyone else with my items more! I have always received above and beyond service and grace from management and watched the facility make upgrades to security to keep the property safe and clean. I enjoy the personal experience and would recommend Yreka Self Storage above any other in the area!

Not bad, except for when Mt.Shasta Creek floods...lol...Also a good investment would be to have some security around the property!

Hey I just wanted to say how disappointed I am with the reviews here on google about Yreka Self Storage. There just seems to be so many entitled, narcissistic, thoughtless people who truly do not know the damage they are causing.The manager have been doing a fine job in making sure that the place is secure. They installed security cameras, and replace holes in the fence as fast as they find them. They do routine walkthroughs to check for burglary. They even installed an automatic gate with a code. Trying their best to keep prying hands outside. It’s not going to be perfect, nobody should expect that.I also want to point out that Denise Davies was definitely in the wrong and had no right posting a bad review. In fact, she was very rude and disrespectful to the managers, demanding answers that they were not allowed to give. And not being understanding to an honest mistake. She took the situation way too far for no reason at all. Very sad to see that kind of behavior come from an adult. The facility got new owners and the managers are trying to do things the new owners way. It’s hard when a corporation takes over when it was a small business. They don’t seem to care much about anyone.Yes the facility is old, but they have been working so hard to get it to where it’s at now. It’s so much nicer than it used to be. I remember when the place looked like a junk yard. Now it’s actually pretty decent and they have plans to make it even better in the future. People should be more open minded and not narcissistic. Remember that you are taking the risk by having your stuff at any storage facility. No place is a security max prison. It’s a storage unit.Charlie and Donna deserve a standing novation. ?

Highly disappointed with Yreka Self Storage. Had been happy with them until I no longer needed my storage unit. Went cleared it out in the middle of the month gave the requested 2 weeks notice on July 13 that I would not be using the storage. Well on August 5 they decided to charge my card for the storage unit. After many attempts to reach the manager on site I was finally able to talk with Donna only for her to tell me that she was unable to refund the charges made to my credit card by her and that she would need to mail me a check I asked for her manager’s information only to be told she could not give me that information and she hung up on me!! Very poor service! She didn’t even get my new mailing address to mail me the refund that she stated would have to done by mail with a paper check! Not worth renting a unit from here

Great prices, helpful employees. I feel my treasures are safe in their care. With 24 hour video and on site managers, I can sleep at night.
