If you need to make a business meeting for a few days it's the best location. The wine nearby is amazing and restaurants couldn't be better. A lot of complementary items that make you feel

Staying here again. It seems thing have dropped off even more. Room is great, but service is ho hum. Some front desk staff seem like they have a hangover. Breakfast has become a cost cutting operation. No more mimosas unless you pay. No eggs or hot food, unless you pay. For what you pay for rooms, it seems like they are being pennywise. quite disappointing.

Quaint, clean, safe. Nice walkable area close to many beautiful vineyards. Breakfasts and wine tastings were delicious and free at this hotel bringing in many locals. Blink and you’ll miss it, it’s hidden in plain sight!

Great changes. Bats in both hotel lobbies. Villagio bar is GREAT!!!It has been long overdue. They could do better in the Thursday night entertainment.Nearby activities: It's too bad the little mall is empty. I loved shopping for wine country gifts. But you can't find them in Yountville.

So sad. We've stayed here ten times over the past decades and always consider this our favorite place to stay in Yountville. Unfortunately, there have been two changes in ownership, and the results are not good ones. It seems that the staff, who are all young kids, could care less about delivering on service, and "yes," you to death, but never come forward with what you've asked for. some days the housekeeping delivers, and Sunday as the housekeeping does not. The front desk does not deliver messages and our bed sheet was torn with a huge hole in it on our first night. There are so many things that could've been done better and would've made our stay so much easier without all of the fighting we had to do just to get basic services. I don't think we will stay here again.

Upon check-in, the property feels more like a Best Western Plus property and not a luxury Napa resort. However, the location in Yountville, the staff and amenities are a big plus in making this a 4* resort. The biggest value add to the property is that almost everything is included. All you can eat snacks, candy, wine, breakfast, courtesy car, pool drinks, e-bikes….just makes you feel like you’re getting more value than the usual expensive add on charges at all of the other resorts. The hotel staff was amazing and every day spent at the property made it feel more like a semi luxury property.

Villagio used to be the place to stay when visiting wine country. Not any more! From filthy rooms, poor hospitality but worst of all - cowardly management, you'll get a better experience staying at any other place except here.Special mention to Emily ("shadow GM") for literally chastising the Front Desk for giving out her name and refusing to address the issue and Marc (the "real" GM) who promised to reach out and address the issue but never did after 3 weeks. When the rot is from the top, can't expect any better from the rest of the staff.Don't stay here!Noteworthy details: FILTHY FILTHY FILTHY.Worst management award! Have never come across such cowardly management anywhere ever!

I typically don’t write reviews but felt the need to write one for this hotel. My experience staying here was outstanding. With the warm greetings upon arrival, consistently prompt service, beautiful, well-manicured lodgings, and excellent food options, both with the hotel and at restaurants nearby, both my friend and I were beyond happy with our stay. Highly recommend if you like beautiful places and good food/wine.

Stayed with my fiance a few weeks ago over the weekend, loved the rooms and the trio with blonde singer pianist in the lobby. Service was questionable. We came back to the bar for a drink the following week and there was someone else playing, it was not the same quality.

too many blunders by management both during our stay and even worse afterwards. Still haven't gotten a call back (called repeatedly over 5 weeks, spoken with several representatives that have said the will have management call me back) regarding what would have been simple correction. We arrived on a Saturday to a very uncomfortable room temp, close to 70 degrees. A/C broken. Not a big deal but we had to leave for a while so someone could come check it out. We arrived back to learn that it could not be fixed and we had to move rooms but additionally the type we'd reserved was not available, so we had to be downgraded. Front desk assured us they would speak with their management to compensate us for the inconvenience as well as room changed. So we went and packed up our stuff, asked is someone was coming to help us move, nope. No one available. So we got all sweaty in our dressed up for dinner outfits lugging things up and down stairs to our new room. New room was fine. Next morning, I found same front desk person asked what plan was, she said a new room would be available and they would move our stuff, but wouldn't happen until afternoon (we were only staying 3 nights) so once again we went and packed up and left instead of relaxing and enjoying the property. On our return we were moved again, room was fine. We'd thought maybe someone would do something special or mention our anniversary, nope. Not even once. We grabbed our swimsuits to get in the hot tub before dinner, arriving to the pool area, there were no towels, anywhere. So since we were getting in (not lounging) we went into front desk to ask for towels, they said "of course, I'll get housekeeping to bring some to you." After soaking for around 40 minutes, no towels arrived and we had to get out soaking wet and now very chilly and walk to our rooms dripping wet. Certainly not the luxury, definitely disappointing and yet - even this mentioned to the front desk didn't phase anyone. "Oh, sorry about that".Upon checkout, we inquired again about management compensation or ANYTHING (honestly, if they'd just given us credit towards spa or drinks or ANYTHING for the difference in the room prices it was around $200, we would have been ok) and the gal at desk looked up our reservation and said "its been prepaid because you used someone else to book, there's nothing I will do. It's on you to call.I booked this get away for our 29th Anniversary using points from our Platinum Chase Card. There was nothing good about that experience. It was not rewarding to deal with these hassles. I did call Chase Travel and they said they would have to speak directly with the hotel to verify the downgrade. I called the hotel on 4 occasions, each time promised Management would return my calls. When you book a 5 star resort and the best part of your stay is the English muffins, there's nothing luxurious about it. Their decorator/designer did a great job, very eclectic and modern. Location is great, so walkable. But no one cares about the guests.

Great location. Poor service. Definitely not a 5-star hotel experience. Service is not good. Rooms are big but no attention to details. No closet, chipping sinks. Housekeeping doesn’t come until late in the day, if at all. Pool has no shade and poor service to keep guests comfortable. Breakfast is often out of coffee and basic items. Will not be back. If you’re looking for a 5-star experience, look elsewhere
