I give 5 stars just because the Food Prices are very reasonable for where you are.
Paper bags for cold drinks is just plane stupid!
Some prices like the posters, Xmas ornaments etc are wildly overpriced and we will just order online.

Shop can get a little crowded (expected for Yosemite in the summer time) and checkout can be a wait but the savior for this store is the beer prices totally unexpected and appreciated!!!

Including firewood. Tip: stock up as soon as you arrive... we had to carry it on foot to the end of Upper Pines. But the fire afterwards was all the more beautiful. Gift shop with ice cream, spirits and some sweets.

I was charged twice, showed them proof, they said I'm out of luck and refused to refund me. When I went to the other manager, I was given a fake email address to ask about for my money back. I also saw the manager charge a girl for a drink she accidentally broke, and accuse a child of shoplifting on two seperate occasions. Very sketchy and awful management, I've heard other stories of them charging people multiple times and refusing refunds

AVOID the red headed female employee, she was extremely rude to me and my family when we went through a door that clearly said EXIT and she insulted us for going in there to get to the soft serve place behind the building. This women needs some self evaluation if she's that rude to confused tourists who travel thousands of miles to see this place and ruin their experience. The door was wide open with an exit sign above it (no other sign explaining the public cannot enter) and she shouted across the room embarrassing us in front of everyone saying "Why would you go through a nasty back room to get ice cream". Truly unbelievable, definitely could've been handled better.

Go for the burritos!!! They are the cheapest thing there and are darn tasty. You can heat them up in the store and there is hot water for coco or ramen.

This is the best place to go for your Yosemite souvenirs. Most of the shops carry the same things, this one is the biggest so you kind of see it all here as far as Yosemite themed gear. The shop has changed a lot over the years. They used to have a cool sale room, everything was a great price there but they got rid of it and it's now a room for employees. They have a great grocery election too. We always go before hikes to pick up water and snacks, and we stop by after for sandwiches and ice cream.

They have mostly what people need when they come to visit Yosemite. Perfect little Market to get supplies and gifts.

Even if you make your reservation months in advance as we did, the park service shuffles you around so you seldom seem to get your first choice which is confusing and risky. Curry Village , which we did not select but got under this crazy system is mostly tents, but fortunately we got a cabin . The price was $250 per night on the reservation but when we checked in the person at the desk said we had booked through a third party, for whom she worked and which we did not realize, and there would be an additional $50 per night (Tacky!) It is so difficult to get into Yosemite we had no choice but to pay what they were charging. The room was literally filthy, baseboards, woodwork etc, and very small (see picture to get an idea of size). The beds however were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was so small that you could not enter without stepping in the shower in order to shut the door. The parking lot lighting and signage were so poor we got lost trying to find our parking lot. You do not have a lot of choices but for $700 for two nights, you may not be overjoyed. On the good side, the limited breakfast was good.

I stayed in the Unheated canvas tents for 3 nights with family. Although the accommodation is very basic, it was a unique experience I would not change. The Tent has no heater or electrical outlets. We did bring a light bulb adapter from Walmart which allowed us to charge our devices and use the light (necessity). In late October, the weather was extremely cold in the tents and we had to wear a couple of layers of clothing to keep warm. It is expensive for what it is, but it is an experience like no other. The canvas tents have no cooking facilities but we used the BBQ facilities in the housekeeping camp. We found this fantastic and had a couple of brilliant nights cooking and drinking beer while watching people with flashlights climb the sheer mountain faces around us. Shower facilities were fine and we had no issues. Toilets were generally clean. We went to pizzeria one night which was expensive. Local supermarket is very handy for snacks, sausages, beer etc and not too wildly priced. There is a microwave and boiling water machine in the shop beside the canvas tents which was handy. Wi-Fi in lounge area was fine and allowed me to FaceTime my wife and newborn. Overall great experience

We stayed in a one-bed cabin with bath. They have cabins without baths (one uses a community restroom) but I wouldn't recommend the cabins without baths in the winter, especially if you have an enlarged prostate. The cabin was . . . rustic and drafty but the heater was adequate. There is a USB outlet for charging attached to the lamp. No WiFi in the cabins but there is a game room nearby with WiFi. The WiFi in the game room is . . . inadequate. The bed was soft. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance. All in all, a decent place to stay in one of the most beautiful places on earth.
