Consistently excellent service. We have a very large dog that can be aggressive and stubborn. They are accommodating and kind and the care that they provide is honest and intelligent. This is definitely the place to go.

Dr D and his staff are absolutely amazing , my dog cruella is traumatized from previous vets but she was so comfortable and mellow during her exam we did everything she needed without her biting or freaking out! I’d give 10 stars if it was possible !

I brought home a dog from the shelter last week and within a few days she was coughing. I was unable to get in to see our vet for almost a week, but Dr. D gave me a same day appointment to get my girl seen and started with meds so her condition didn’t worsen. Everyone at the office was very polite and helpful.

Always great service and friendly staff. We love our trips to the vet. No hassle, fun for us and our two big dogs. Because of the love they get they are not afraid to go to the vet's office. They are relaxed and enjoy their hugs. Thanks to all of the Staff. Your all really awesome.

I am heartbroken and devastated to even have to write this review, but I believe that my puppy would absolutely be alive if it was not for the lack of quality care we received from Dr Danoa. My story is tragic. We had a Chiweenie for 16 years and switched to Yorba Linda Pet Care after we felt another vet was price gauging us for needless tests on an old dog, just to refill her medication. However her health declined very quickly and she lost 2/3 of her body weight. We told the vet that we thought her medicine was too strong, and he needed to test her blood levels to see if she needed a lower dose now that she was only 1/3 her previous weight. He rejected what we asked for and told us she has pancreatitis. He prescribed medicine, but she did not improve. She stopped eating altogether and died. I know she was an old dog, so we chalked it up to the fact that she was 18 years old and it was her time. We got a beautiful Italian Greyhound puppy 2 weeks later, and brought her into see Dr. Danoa. He did the normal puppy exams, shots, etc. We then booked for her to be spayed. She was spayed at 7 months old with no issues. She was a very healthy, active, strong puppy, who was now just under 1 year old. We have had exterminators come to our house for 15 years with no problem. But suddenly last week we saw Lucy playing with a rat bait box in the back yard. We were horrified and took it from her immediately and moved it to a location she could not get to. We contacted the exterminator and they assured us that the boxes are pet safe. However, later that night Lucy coughed a couple times. It was just something to make note of. The next day though she was coughing, dry heaving, throwing up, & lethargic. We video recorded lots of footage and made a sample video to show the vet.We immediately took her in to YL Pet Care and Dr Danoa dismissed my statement that I thought she got into the rat bait boxes. He said he thought that she had the dog flu and threw up and aspirated on it. i again brought up the poison, and told him that we wanted to make sure it was not poison, because the symptoms came on so fast and she was not sick before she played with the rat bait box. He said we could do bloodwork, but it would not come back for a couple days and the treatment would be the same either way. He told us again it was pneumonia. He recommended medication and home monitoring for a couple days, and if there was no improvement, to bring her back in for blood testing. Had we known how deadly the poison was and how crucial quick treatment was and that the treatment was not the same as pneumonia, we would have insisted on blood tests immediately. He gave her meds and sent her home. She declined so rapidly at home, she suddenly had blood pouring out of her nose and mouth! We rushed her to a different hospital, where she died within 9 hours of seeing him. She was only 11 months old! He misdiagnosed her! Had he given her vitamin K, and listened to us she most likely would still be here. If he kept her over night, she most likely would be alive. It haunts me that he did none of this and when I called him to tell him that Lucy died, he said he did nothing wrong!
We will not bring another pet there ever!

Our experience with YL Pet Care Center was excellent. From the moment we met with Dr. D and the staff we were well informed and greeted with enthusiasm. We were presented with options for care with focus on budget and the well being of our pet. We will be returning to YL Pet Care Center for our dog's future needs. Thank you Dr. Dr and staff.

I took my cat to another vet a couple of months ago that was trying to get me to do a heart exploration and recommending cataracts surgery when diagnosing him with kidney disease. They had me try to collect a urine sample myself because my cat peed there at the vet and gave me back my cat dripping in pee. Giving me some random litter to do this. My cat is very particular and would hold his pee and urinate anywhere else before a new litter.
Pounce started peeing blood and so I looked up new vets and found Yorba Linda Pet Care. I was able to get a same day appointment and they had to rerun all the labs, as last vet didn’t provide them to me. My cat of course peed on the table and they worked hard to collect the urine sample themselves. After the work up, they explained in detail the reports and they found my cat has hyperthyroidism which causes all his issues. They were kind, efficient, and overall it was a good experience. Night and day compared to the last vet. They worked with me on his needs to make it so it wasn’t a struggle.
I am so grateful.
