They got me the maximum returns and they know all of the programs and regulations available to help with my Business and Personal taxes. I have been working with Ed & Maddie for 20 years. They have been awesome with all of the returns that they have done for our family. They do get busy at times but I would think that is a good sign that many trust them.

Long story short, we attempted to file our 2021 taxes with this company. The discussion and follow on submission of our federal and state taxes took place 2/16/2022. A request to confirm our taxes were accepted was done multiple times with zero response. Finally received confirmation after multiple attempts via email and phone. State return check was received short hundreds of dollars compared to the forms received from TRBC. Many attempts were made to receive information as to why this happened. Finally after multiple requests for information we were told that they imputed the wrong SSN for one of my dependents. We attempted to fix this issue for many days and then we finally received the fixed federal tax return. We were told to only fix the federal return as it was returned with errors and in an effort to beat the deadline, we did that. On April 7th we signed the fixed federal taxes and to date 5/2/2022 we have not received confirmation that our federal taxes were accepted. We have called multiple times with zero response. This business is by far the worst we have ever had to work with on a matter this important. They have my paid fees so, I guess we are left to look elsewhere to get this resolved. Very frustrating and I am advising anyone thinking about Tax Returns By Contract for service to go elsewhere.

What a horrible experience! These guys are completely not professional and have very little respect for your time! They scheduled our appointment at 3:00PM. We were at their office exactly at 3:00PM. After waiting for the accountant for 15 minutes, we inquired how much longer they will be. The response that we received was another 30 minutes!!! The accountant was on the phone with another customer and it didn't even occur to him that he could have called the customer back and to attend to us, a customer that was already in the office and waiting! If you don't care about your time, go ahead and schedule an appointment just to wait in their office for hour or several!

Ever since Masoud, Jennifer, Ray all the good peeps left this place is trash. Maddie tried desperately to keep my business. I was too lazy to go file elsewhere but once she collected payment they never even responded to any of my emails. I've followed up with them several times and no response. they are super disorganized and dont give a f*** about customers. Dishonest people - Tiffany is the absolute worst. NO RESPONSE after several emails. how many times do i have to ask for simple things. Will never be returning. RUN RUN FAR FAR AWAY. Also what a super unprofessional company holding the customer on the phone to talk s*** about Masoud and the other members..sounds like desperation if you ask me.

*** yelp is a completely unfair platform that takes full advantage of businesses - ill leave a review *** i paid them almost $800 and now they will not return my calls or file my taxes !! this is a scam

So unhappy with this place. I sent all my items including social security cards and I'd pictures. I had an appointment and they never called.. We called and. I one answered. Finally after a week someone answered the phone. "apparently" some of the workers went AWOL and left. Called and my information is somewhere who knows where... I called and the person answering the phones doesn't know where my info is at. Suggested I contact my previous tax person and ask for an extension? My husband called and he was given a different email and then I called and said they can't access that email. That's from the same person who gave my husband the new email! I regret ever sending my personal info, I just hope our identities don't get stolen!!

As a CEO and experienced real estate developer and investor , I have been fortunate to always have an effective and responsive accounting firm to assist with my financial matters. In 2019, I hired Taxes by Contract of Anaheim. At the outset , the owner ,Edward Contract , was very responsive and timely in his submission of my corporate and personal tax returns. Unfortunately in 2020 ,things changed and I had to text, call and email numerous times only to be completely ignored. It was time consuming and frustrating to be treated with such disrespect.He first told me he would file my returns in July due to the pandemic extension and missed that deadline completely. Then he requested an extension until October 15 and sent my personal returns on October 14,2020 and to my complete shock , he "forgot" to send my corporate return which has resulted in an IRS penalty of almost $5000.00 . In attempting to have him appeal this usurious penalty , he has denied any culpability and offered every lie and excuse (including blaming me )imaginable to avoid accepting accountability for his oversight . Be forewarned that Edward Contract is completely disorganized, forgetful and untruthful. I have since hired another accountant who completed my two 2020 tax returns by early April and always returns my calls providing excellent service. Michele Hughes

I was referred to Tax by Contract from a co-workers a few years back. I've been ecstatic with their service, knowledge, and results. All the people involved are wonderful and fun. I enjoy the way they work and hold meetings. It almost makes me look forward to filing :) Highly recommended!

Always amazing... We have been going here for 10 years now and have never had any issues. They have always been so great and helped us through everything. I have had some pretty odd things that needed to be sorted out and they had the most amazing patience with me! I have recommended to 2 of my neighbor's and 3 friends and they have been going to them for a few years now and have had zero complaints and only have had great things to say about my recommendation!

I was referred to this office by my colleague who has been coming here for years and years. Micheal and Massoud are genius and have helped me more than I could have even imagined. I am really happy with the work. All of the staff members are like Michaels family and the office is so warm. I've had the pleasure of dining with the entire staff twice when I go in for my visit and I'm already look forward to next Wednesday lunch! Thank you to Mike, Massoud and the team. They have me as a customer for life!
