“Excellent hotel for a Disney stay. The staff is welcoming and very helpful. Welcomed every time you are leaving or arriving. Nice little restaurant in the main lobby. Rooms are great for a family stay with plenty of room. We had 6 guests in our room and never felt cramped or crowded. The Disney store in the hotel is pretty cool for a small souvenir shop. Walking distance to the park entrance and downtown Disney. Water park is a life saver, we had an extra day to kill and the kids loved it. Staff is friendly and the lifeguards are very attentive to each area of the park while the kids were going down the slide or playing in the splash pad areas. Great hotel for a fun stay!”

“This place was very surprising for me. Wasn’t expecting such a great stay here. Location is awesome. We actually stayed here to go to Universal Studios Hollywood. Not a bad drive, less than one hour which was not bad for the LA area. The place is older but is maintained very well. Everything was clean and in good working order. Just one minor thing is that if you plan on sleeping in a little you can hear walking and kids running upstairs so maybe get a second floor room, but wasn’t a huge issue for us. The property is clean, just some parking stalls are a little tight if you have a bigger car/suv. Definitely will be retuning to stay here. Price is very reasonable for the area and location that is a quick walk to downtown Disneyland.”

“Rooms are renovated. But you can tell the place has been "here" (iykyk). Small parking lot. Great service. They only serve coffee, you do get a 15% off from Danny's. 10 minute walk to Downtown Disney. You can hear traffic and your neighbors TV (if it's loud). Other than that, it's pretty nice.

“We just stayed at the DisneyLand Hotel and had a blast! Rooms were comfortable, traditional Disney features (could tell it’s been a while since renovation but wasn’t old or gross). The hospitality from all the staff was top notch as well. We loved being able to access the parks early and enjoy Downtown Disney throughout our stay. Highly recommend!”

“My experience at Hyatt House Anaheim Resort was phenomenal, the service I received from arriving to departing was one of a kind. When checking in I was greeted at the front desk by Cecilia whom greeted with a smile and amazing customer service she was quick and efficient. We informed her we were celebrating our anniversary. She stepped away and came back with the Richard the assistant general manager who congratulated us and informed he had something special for us.

We got to our room and had such an amazing view with a bottle of wine congratulating us. Those thoughtful gestures that Richard made happen added to our special day. Richard payed attention to detail and is dedicated to making his customers stay that more special which is a breath of fresh air. Thank you Cecilia and Richard for your dedication and and amazing customer service you made our special day one to remember!”

“Good location near Disneyland, just walk 800m to Pixar parking building to catch tram to Downtown Disney. Basic rooms but fine if just crashing there. Staff friendly. Breakfast cereal, bagels and make your own waffles, all adequate. Rooms a bit tired but clean. Only downer is not located near any eateries within walking distance (we had no car). Otherwise, fine and dandy place to stay.

Nearby activities: Cheaper than other motels around Disneyland as little further from entrance but walkable to pick-up tram to Downtown Disney (800m).

Walkability: Easy to get to Disneyland with a walk. Easy to get around the motel.

Food and drinks: No eateries within walking distance so need car or Uber.”

“The room was huge and the beds were so comfy with firm mattresses (the best)! Plus, you can’t beat the location if you’re going to Disneyland.

Taking a star away for the service. There were a few instances that made me say, “hmmm…this could have been better.” When we arrived late (like after midnight), the man at the front desk was giving one word/as short as possible answers to our questions and was just not very helpful at all.

Here’s an example of a conversation we had:
Us: is there a Disneyland shuttle that stops at this hotel?
Him: yes.
Us: oh awesome! And how does it work? Do you have to ask it to stop?
Him: it comes every 30 minutes.
Us: do you happen to know the times it’s supposed to stop here?
Him: every 30 minutes. 9:00, 9:30, 10:00.

It wasn’t until the next morning when we chatted with a different, very helpful staff member at the front desk that we learned that it does not come on the hour and half hour exactly. She also explained that it’s $6 per person, per direction so she always recommends that people just use Uber or Lyft because it’s about $8 per ride and would save us some money. We were very appreciative of her information!

The second thing that made us question the service was the fact that we never got housekeeping in our 2 days there. We left for Disneyland around 9 am and came back after midnight to unmade beds. I don’t think I’ve ever left a hotel room so early and not gotten housekeeping before. We were staying at a Motel 6 before this where we would always leave our room after 11am, and we’d still come back to nicely made beds, so I was really surprised that the service was better at a Motel 6 than a Hilton hotel.

Finally, we asked for a late checkout since our flight didn’t leave until the evening and we needed to kill some time. They said the latest they could do was noon. Yep, no problem. Around 11:30, a staff member (my husband said they weren’t housekeeping) came knocking on our door asking us what we were still doing there. We had to explain that we’d asked for a late checkout, but they didn’t seem to have a record of it and seemed annoyed that we were still there.

Overall, a good experience, but there’s definitely some room for improvement.”

“This is my favorite hotel everytime we come to Anaheim. Li e the mi key waffles and the rooms are always amazing, but this time we had an issue with the housekeeping, upon checking in they ask if we like room service everyday and we said yes, after getting to the room it was not super clean but we paid no mind to it, they where servicing the room everyday. We realized we didn't have shower gel and it took 2 days for them to bring some, the did not service our room everyday like they said and when they did it was not really well done. We got called and asked if we wanted the service again we said yes and then they showed up at 6pm to clean it... it was ki d of annoying but we where there so have a good time.
But I the one thing that keeps up coming back other than the mickey waffles is the fact that they have box fans upon request. And my friends make up for any other issues. Still pur favorite place, just maybe they where short staffed on housekeeping or new people who knows!”

“This used to be our go to, but now they are so expensive for us to come here anymore. I've been coming here for 20 years and it's always been great staff and convenient location. Unfortunately our budget coming as our of town guests for the Disney park just won't allow us to stay here any more. If your wallet can fit it, you won't regret your stay here.”

“We stayed here for 4 nights in a high-floor deluxe room with two queen beds. The lobby was beautiful, and the front desk staff were very friendly. Our room was big, clean, and I really liked the wall design behind the bed. We had a city view. Parking was convenient, both valet and self-parking are available. I went with self-parking, which was $35 a night with in-and-out privileges, and there were plenty of spaces. They also run a shuttle to Disneyland for $7 per person per day. The hotel has a couple of restaurants and a market on-site, but there are lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance as well. No free breakfast, but overall, we had a great stay here.”

“TLDR; best hotel for the price, location, and accommodations

Firstly, this is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in for the price. I went to Disney for the day and stayed there for the night and the drive to and from is only like 5-8 minutes, depending on traffic. The room itself was spacious and accommodating, there was a lot of pleasantries, the bed was clean and comfortable, the coffee from the coffee maker was good, and the curtains were truly black-out curtains. The hotel offers breakfast which was really good! There was eggs, turkey sausages, pancakes, seasoned potatoes, fruit salad, yogurt, granola, lots of different bread options, orange juice (which was devine), and coffee with different creamer options, all of which was constantly being refilled throughout the duration of the breakfast time which is great! The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a pool, bar nearby, Wendy’s nearby, parking was great, and an ice maker. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely go again.

“This is a great location for those looking to enjoy Disney. We stayed here for the Disney Half Marathon and the location was perfect. About a 20 minute walk to the parks. The hotel has a quiet policy after 10pm which is really nice. The gym had some basic equipment, but they did the job. We would definitely stay here again. The staff was super friendly and helpful.”
