After two very weird and bad experiences with my favorite nail salon in Brea (rhymes with Free-Purdy-Free), I needed a new pedicure place. Enter GN Nails & Spa...I've been coming here for about 6 months and this is the place for me. I always call to make an appointment and when I come down at my appointed time I never have to wait. They don't try to upsell me and they do a nice clean job. I've been pleased with my toes. Prices are very reasonable for a no-frills pedicure shop. They don't offer you champagne like my old place, but I did come in recently with a couple girlfriends and they suggested that I order some special drinks from Blue Agave (the Mexican restaurant 3 doors down) and have them deliver. They even got on the phone with Blue Agave to arrange. About 5 minutes later, the bartender from Blue Agave came walking through the door with our drinks in hand. Now that's a special pedicure! I'll be back!

I'm a picky person. Picky to my own detriment. But at least I can laugh about it. So now we have that part out of the way. When I was on my quest to find an exceptional nail salon near me, I came across GN Nails & Spa. I made an appointment and showed up 10 minutes prior to choose my colors. Guess what? I hear "Dianne, please be seated at your chair, we are ready for you." I mean, this was nearly on the dot for my appointment time. Huh? What? That's something new and refreshing! Cathy did my gel mani and Lynn took the reins on my gel pedi. Perfectly executed, I was a happy client. So, a few weeks pass...and I give them a shot again. Same story. Perfection achieved! And now, I'm on my fifth visit and have earned my seal of pickiness approval . These ladies are fantastic at their craft AND fun to be around. Oh, I should mention this place is meticulously spotless with modern, comfortable chairs...and the highest sanitation and disinfection protocols are in place? Yes, please! P.S. I should mention that Abby is also awesome. She did a French gel polish on me that was the best I've ever had. She asked if I wanted thin, medium or wide on the French. I went with medium and it was PERFECT! P.S.S. Make an appointment with anyone there...that's the secret to this little gem of a nail salon. They run an "on time" operation and that goes a long ways in my book.

Came here to get my nails done while my son did his coding class a few doors down. I asked for a dip, and when she saw my nails, she said it was long already and that I didn't need the dip. I thought this sounded quite strange, especially since most nail salons encourage dips, powders, gel x, etc. for obvious reasons. Since Christmas is around the corner, I wanted longer nails and deep color red for my nail polish. Once she started gluing the nails, it already looked lopsided. Although my right middle finger has always been a little crooked and lopsided, she somehow managed to make my right pointer finger look lopsided. She then started dipping my nails in red powder, and it just started looking clumpy and got bulkier and bulkier. I was hoping that when she finished. It would look a little different, so I stayed quiet and tried to be patient. After washing my hands and painting the shiny coat of nail polish, my heart sank. My nails looked pregnant, having an apple figure, and the polish, although it was shiny, looked like a blob of red. My nails did not have the dainty clean look to it. She said it was because I chose to have a dip, and that's how it is supposed to look. You can probably fool a high schooler with this kind of reasoning but not a middle-aged woman such as myself (although i have to admit I could pass for a high schooler or college student and I have the appearance of looking innocent and naive). Although the nail polish was shiny, everything else was not to my expectation. I should have insisted on getting it all removed. Now I have to pay someone to remove it and get a whole new set done all over again. It took her an hour and a half just to do my nails. It shouldn't have taken that long. I opted out on my candycane design on my ring finger and chrome. I was so disappointed, to say the least. She should've been honest with herself and honest with me with her skills and limitations. Instead, she wasted her time and energy as well as my time and money. I am sure she tried her best, and I hope this doesn't discourage her, but being honest and humble in accepting what you can and can't do would have saved face, time, and energy.

Excellent service and fast service. Love my nails. Thank you Nina!!! Nina ensured that I loved my nails and even made some corrections when she didn't like something. Conveniently located in the heart of Yorba Linda.

First time coming here! I loved it. The ladies here were so nice and they took their time fixing up my nails. The place is very clean and modern. Would recommend!

Expensive!!!! Overpriced!!!!Bad customer service!!!!! Poor Quality of work from nails to lashes!!!! Hiring nail technicians that has no experience nor licensed yet?!

I'm sad to see all the great reviews and I don't understand why I was treated so poorly. From the beginning I felt like a burden. This place is the worst nail place I have ever been to. I'm glad they are giving me a refund but I lost the money trying to fix them and eventually took them off because they were so painfully set on. Huge regret! This was done by Cathy.

Very clean nail salon. Cathy was very sweet! I'm only giving 4/5 because my skin got cut in 2 places. However, I would still go back because the manicure turned out great and it was probably just a fluke that it happened. Prices are great too and they have a great selection of colors.

Cathy and Lynne are so kind and welcoming! This is my favorite place to get my nails done. I usually get a pedicure and gel manicure. They do a great job!

They do a great job here. They also just remodeled so everything is nice, new and clean. I've gone to Gina regularly for lashes and she does a meticulous job- some places make your lashes look really fake but she makes them look very natural. I come here regularly for pedicures and it's always consistent! Great service!

GN nails is the best! Lynn is great and she is personable and so kind. She does an excellent job and she applies care to everything she does. She is a pedicure queen in my opinion. Gina is great with gel nails and she cares for her clients. Give GN nails a try! It is worth it :)
