The owner of this store was so helpful. I went to buy a walking foot for my sewing machine. He showed me some options and put on the one that I chose and gave me some pointers on how to use my machine. He was Soo knowledgeable.

I had taken my Dyson completely apart to try and find an obstruction and was unsuccessful. I decided yo bring it in to have a young gentleman diagnose it for repair. Within minutes, he found the obstruction (translucent) cap and remove it, and the Dyson was back in working condition. I asked him for the cost and all he asked for was a good review. I will not hesitate to bring my business back or drive business their way in the future. This is how a business should be ran, unlike Kaiser Permanente! Lol.

Pavel is a very friendly business owner and his prices are very fair. He fixed my vacuum, cleaned it, changed the filters, and also showed me how to take better care of it. If you ever need a sewing machine or a vacuum, or you need one fixed, please go see Pavel at Woodland Sewing and Vacuum Center. He will even show you how to use it! I have an older sewing machine that I rarely use. It has always worked well for me, but it's really dusty from sitting around. I made some curtains and had some trouble with the thread breaking. I fixed it by changing the needle but decided to take it in to get it cleaned and serviced. I went to Woodland Sewing & Vacuum. The salesperson immediately started telling me how my machine was plastic and not meant to last long and was not worth fixing for the amount he would charge. He pointed out that one of the feet was broken and HE BROKE ANOTHER FOOT OFF to show how it also was old & fragile. He opened up the machine and BROKE ONE OF THE GEARS TO SHOW ME IT WAS PLASTIC. Then he told me that he could sell me a machine that would cost less than the repair. My machine was functional when I took it in to that shop. Yes, it's old, cheap, dirty, but it was working. He could have just verbally told me what he thought but he broke my machine parts and now I can't use it at all. I would never buy anything from this business.

This place is amazing! First of all, the owner, who I assume is named Pavel, let my friends and I come in 5 before closing, even though he knew we were coming for repair for our vacuum. Even though we came very late, he was kind and patient and still willing to share his knowledge throughout his thought process. He was very transparent and taught me a lot. We ended up buying a new vacuum at a very affordable price, and I am overly grateful for him! I am definitely coming back if I need a new vacuum or vacuum repairs, and even for sewing machines. Thank you Pavel!
