Communication has gotten better. Super expensive for the quality of coaching. If I could take my kids elsewhere I would.

Read the contract and ask lots of questions about expectations of the foundation. Many rules without it being directly told to you.

I wanted to get my daughter back into gymnastics. This was the only place that offered a morning class during the week as my daughter is homeschooled and I wanted to get her back into something she really loves. Guess I will keep looking. I'll say this I am sure it's great for some but definitely not for us. For the month of December they only had 1 actual class and charged me full price for the month. And the payments are explained on the transaction page. They are closed for winter break just like school. I hope those who are attending there are having a great time but for us, we will look elsewhere.

The dust build up at this place is pretty impressive! It doesn't seem like anyone has taken the time to dust any part of that facility in years.. If they welcomed parents and kids to their facility with that much dust, I certainly question if they ever wipe down equipment, etc. I had my reservations about continuing to take my daughter, but what broke the camels back and made me go elsewhere was because Woodland in the summer is extremely hot in the summer and during a 50 minute class, they had to stop twice due to the heat which turned it into a 30 minute class (that is including water breaks). Also, their staff/instructors change constantly. In the 6 months that my daughter took classes, she had 4 instructors. They never introduced themselves when they were new, etc. Two of the instructors were awful and seemed to be bothered by even being there. Also, when you sign up, the website says your child gets a shirt. They don't. The instructor doesn't even introduce new kids when they join the class. It makes things awkward and uncomfortable for the new kid. I now take my daughter to another town nearby for gymnastics and man, what a complete difference! I am honestly unsure how Woodland Gymnastics is still open they way it is ran with the uninterested staff, dirty facility, and ancient equipment. There are other towns incredibly close that are well worth the drive to go to a clean facility with safe, well maintained equipment and instructors that enjoy kids and teaching them gymnastics.

I'm surprised how many negative comments are on here. Sadly, Their focus is only on the AC and heat situation. A facility that's located in a warehouse with tall ceilings and roll up doors will not be easily climate controlled. The staff is amazing, caring, knowledgeable and my kids love them. To me, that's all that matters. My 3 kids have all attended here for 10, 8 and 4 years. They have always been safe and happy here. We have also had numerous birthday parties here too! On hot days we take morning classes or I send them with ice water, or they cancel the class and we make it up later. On cold days the gym has the heater on and my kids wear an extra layer, that they shed during class. This non-profit is one of the best kid centered programs for our families in town. They don't encourage competition, but just improving strength, flexibility and other crucial skills. If I sound like I'm a huge fan, I am, or we wouldn't be here several times a week. We keep coming back became my kids love the coaches. Anna, Chris, Mariah, Christine to just name a few.

For some reasoon they can't turn on the heat. It's about 45 degrees in here for my child's class, age 2-5. If they keep the temp a consistent 60, the kids wouldn't freeze. Coaches are mediocre and so is staff.

We signed our daughter up for gymnastics when she was 2, starting with the mommy and me class. She has since moved up to the first level where she is not doing mommy and me (I have a terrible memory). Woodland Gymnastics has given my daughter an incredibly self confidence boost. She asks all week when she gets to go to her next gymnastics lesson. I really adore the fact that the gym also exposes her to performing in public, so that she gets used to it and isn't phased when th

This facility has no A/C. Strenuous activity in 100°F+ temperatures is no acceptable. At temperatures over 90°F fans are ineffective at preventing heat-related illnesses. Apparently the administration felt A/C was important enough that they installed It in there office. The lack of climate control should be fully disclosed during signup.

This place is horrific. I honestly don't think it's fit for adults, much less children. No heat in the winter no ac in the summer? This is more of a torture facility. It appears to be ran by children, or at least that's all we encountered when we were there. Even though it was for a birthday party the atmosphere was chilling and depressing. I am not at all surprised by the quantity of negative reviews of this place. I honestly can't see how this place is still in business.
