I write my reviews like I write my songs or I drawl my pictures it's all about how I feel about it and it's important to me so take that with a grain of salt as you read my reviews .As an eccentric artist and intellectual who can be both difficult to deal with on a creative any technical side I experienced nothing but simple and straightforward interactions with woolen gold and silver both on the phone and in person at their shop on main street in woodland ca. I didn't find anything over embellishing in the services offered in their website and what I experienced after seeking a services everything was in alignment and was rather quick almost quicker than I wanted to be as the process was both informing and inviting. Not only did I walk out of the shop with some much-needed cash in hand but some knowledge as well. I will be a regular customer moving forward.

I've recently been in search of a reputable and honest coin shop that I could do regular business with.
As a beginner but serious Gold and Silver Stacker.
This place is the last place I'll go to. Ever.
Although they're prices are reasonable and buying from them is not an issue.
DO NOT go to sale or trade anything with these individuals.
I recently conducted my own "test" where I took a bunch of cheap jewelry I acquired from auction (storage units) I mixed this REAL cheap jewelry in with some fake jewelry.
There was a specific gold band, 7 inches 14k. Retail about $150 - $200
I acquired this piece in a box full of miscellaneous jewelry (mostly fake, some real) for no more than $15.
It was a test I was willing to conduct. And money I was willing to lose, since the purpose is greater than a dollar value.
Well these individuals mixed that gold bracelet in with a few real silver items.
And offered me $7.
I noticed it immediately but I gladly accepted it, conducted my business and left.
I'll never return.
As someone who does this as a hobby and whose trying to build generational wealth through metal stacking
These people will take advantage of individuals any chance they get

Very helpful when I went in asking questions was very honest on the mark ups and prices on selling it back. I sold a piece of gold to them and they used a machine to see if it's gold so idk why some of the reviews say they wouldn't look for them but I've never had an issue I even bought some gifts for my kids from here I'd recommend

I'd be wary, took a gold bracelet in. The lady said she couldn't tell if it was real and hand no way to test it. Not sure what kind of jeweler can't tell if jewelry is real.

I walked in thinking it was a good idea for someone in their to help me out what kind of nugget I found metal detecting but i guess it's not a good place to ask if it's gold or silver.the lady in their said I need a an expensive machine to tell me what I had found. Sounds like she just wanted me out the door. She wasn't pleasant to talk about what I had found.

I don't know why people are giving any negative reviews about this shop. I had a great experience purchasing silver at a fair market value. The owner of the shop was extremely friendly and explained the entire process to me. I paid for my purchase, and a few days later, my order was in, and I was immediately called down to pick it up. Thanks, woodland gold and silver!

I don't like to accuse people but it's very funny to me that I couldn't find a double die coin after showing them a collection I had. Ever since that day I could not find that specific double die coin which was in pretty decent condition and i know what i had. So if your looking to check out a specific amount of coins especially a good amount be aware and keep an eye on your things.
