I went to walmart tonight to buy some creamer for my work week. There was only one cashier named Ashley-(which was understandable for 11pm). I was greeted by the cashier by her saying "ballsack?" I said excuse me? she said I thought you spoke Spanish. She asked if I wanted a bag, and I said yes even though when I approached the counter I was having a conversation with my husband in English. Then her immediate response was to ask me if I was paying with EBT, I said no. She attempted to lighten the mood by asking me what my favorite ride at Disneyland if I've ever even been there. I just ignored her because I have never been treated with such racist remarks before. Because I am ethnic looking I speak Spanish and am on food stamps? I let the door greeters know I would be contacting corporate. They said it was understandable and they attempted to lighten the mood by drawing a cat on my receipt. Walmart if you keep hiring racist people like this cashier I will not spend my hard earned money here. Even though I am not a EBT recipient, one should not be treated in such a disrespectful manner. There are some families who depend on EBT to feed their families and should not be made to feel like they are being talked down to. I will be forwarding this complaint to corporate and hope to hear back from them.

Gotta LOVE Woodland. See, Woodland doesn't have a bunch of stoned hippies on city council so unlike Davis (with no Walmart) Woodland has 2 (count them) TWO Walmarts. I like this location because it's easy to park. For the most part it's a vendor of a ton of cheap Chinese crap but it does have a produce area which is decent.

Clean, well stocked and friendly staff! What more can I say? Such a welcome change from the Walmart in Natomas. I will come to this one from now on whenever I have to make a Costco run on the same day.

My last yelp review for Walmart (which I also submitted to Corporate) was both scathing and appropriate. I meant every word. However, I have to remark on the experience I had this evening (as well as other experiences since I wrote the review). I'd been in the habit of starting my stopwatch at the locked alcohol case to see how long it would take for someone to respond to the pager button. The first 9+ times I did this, it took 20 to 40 minutes, as well as calls to the store as I stood at the case waiting for someone to come by. This evening, someone responded in a BLAZING 19 seconds. I know it seems a bit over-the-top to set a timer but time is precious, folks. This evening, Walmart on E. Main Street in Woodland, CA demonstrated that my time and business as a customer is important to them. I believe it was the assistant store manager who responded to my page. She politely checked my ID and took my selection to register 11 where a young man with delightful customer service skills awaited. Yes, he had a nose ring, half of a shaved head and what remained of his hair was a lovely shade of teal...but he also had an excellent grasp of customer service and interpersonal skills. He playfully teased me about being too young to buy alcohol (I'm 40. This pleases me.) while asking for my ID - in a NON-creepy way. His attitude was positive and his smile, along with his knack for lighthearted conversation, relieved the stress of a long day and I actually left the register in a better mood than when I entered the store! Then the young man at the door checked my receipt - he was polite, pleasant and attentive. I'm not saying that the role of the door checker is highly skilled but a positive attitude and a polite and professional demeanor make quite an impression. I also noticed that associates made a point of looking at customers' faces, welcoming the opportunity to provide assistance, should someone appear to need it. EXCELLENT! The improvement since October is staggering! This is the best experience I've had at ANY Walmart within the past 15 years. To management and staff at this particular Walmart, I commend you for the swift and drastic turnaround. THANK YOU for an excellent customer service experience this evening!

Walmart is Walmart, if I want chaos at a cheap price I go to Walmart. There are certain products they sell that are priced just right so I psych myself out and go as little as possible

Every single time that i am at this Walmart the workers seemed to always surprised me! I was at the fishing section and a worker just released his waste gas while he was 12 inches apart from me, I was startled and i felt disrespected not mentioning the other worker that is spying on me and my friends asking what we're doing on the light section because we don't know what light to get for our plants and didn't even offered us help he even assumed that we're stealing

Assistant manager Mindy is so nice and very helpful! We were in the garden center today and she answered our questions and helped us find what we were looking for. They have a good selection of products, but nice employees is what keeps me coming back to certain stores.

I come here pretty often but today's experience was great that I had to post a review. I first entered Walmart with my son & of course he wants to go straight to the toy section. He's 2 and runs all over. So he started saying "toys dad" he then walked over to a manager saying "toys"! She then replied "you want toys" she then walked my son all the way to the toy section. He was so happy. She really didn't have to take time out of her day to do that but she did. I know Walmart doesn't receive a lot of good reviews so here is mine.

Best time to go is at night when there aren't a lot of other customers. I gave 4 stars since there are numerous nasty homeless people asking for money constantly. Staff is friendly.
