A $15 processing fee to pay my bill. Credit unions are supposed to be a not-for-profit lending institution. I could see it costing a few bucks at the most but 15? Take your business elsewhere I'm about ready to have them come pickup their vehicles. They're basically the same or worse as any large bank now.

I really really hate Travis Credit Union bank ?, because my auto loan is with Travis Credit Bank, they keep asking me every documents like full coverage insurance and health insurance, Travis Credit Bank don’t care about you who you’re even your budget is low or your life is bad, they work like Robot, because Robot doesn’t feel anything about human being, I never seen like this bad bank in the USA, I know some good banks like Bank of America and Wells Fargo, etc, I tell everyone how you do like this bank

Just joined travis credit union a few months ago to an auto loan. When I say join it's actually through the dealership, not by choice. Their online banking is atrocious. The most non user friendly system, you have to jump through hoops to get to a real person on the phone, and they double charge you. I charged my debit through their phone banking, and they then take a second payment a day later off my account. I can't even set up mobile banking, Zelle, online bill pay, etc. because I don't have a checking with them, so HOW did they get into my account? It's NOT connected to them, I haven't set up auto pay, and it's not listed that I did. Now I'm out a considerable chunk of change when it is desperately needed and they won't give it back. So beware this place, you may be stuck like some of us.Update: 3 stars instead of one now. If you need something done go into the branch. The online customer service is awful but in the branch they make things happen. I thank the woodland office for fixing this, still hesitant on staying with this bank though.

I have had nothing but good dealings with this bank. Friendly staff, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The security features are intuitive and effective. Every time.

I bought a car, and the company that picked up my loan was Travis Credit Union. For some reason, they opened two other accounts in my name - a checking and savings account. Accessing the accounts and figuring out how to make my payments was frustrating, more so than any other loan I've ever had. Their online banking features are circular and not at all user-friendly.To add to my frustration, they also kept telling me that my proof of insurance was the incorrect proof of insurance. They needed some ridiculously specific wording that I couldn't add. So I said f it and refinanced with my preferred bank. Now, six months later I am being charged some weird maintenance fee. I try to use the help feature to figure out what it is and why I'm being charged this, and it just directed me to the 800-number. When I called, they couldn't tell me what the fee was. I've had a bank account since I was a kid, and had to change a couple of times due to moving. None of those banks were as inconvenient and frustrating as this credit union. Credit unions can be amazing. But not this one.

This bank is great. Every step of the way Travis Credit Union, in woodland has educated me and provided me with many options to help advance my financial security. Every time I go in to the bank, I'm greeted with a smile, treated like I am the only client that matters, and my needs are always handled in a professional manner. If you go here....all the guys and gals down there are awesome, but Mrs. Dorothy has always made me feel secure in my financial decisions.

My friend really likes Travis Credit Union so I opened an account. However, the three times I've called their phone help number I was on hold for 30 minutes or more. And the recorded message would say my wait time was 16 minutes, then, after 18 minutes, would come on and say my wait time was 10 minutes, and so on, lying each time. "Because of COVID," they got rid of the call-back system so I had to listen to their perky auto loan ads over and over. I'm 45 minutes from town but went to the branch today, and got directions for how to start online banking. Back home on my computer, the system wouldn't let me complete the process. Insult to injury, when I called and was put on hold, the recording said they were busy now, that I should use the online access. When customer service finally got to me (longer than the estimated wait time), Nancy said they know about the problems and are trying to fix them, are hiring more people. My bad luck that in the past 2 weeks of bad service there has been no improvement. Travis CU has assets over 6 billion, I think they should be able to improve their customer service! Their system doesn't work for either my land line or my cell phone but she says, "There's much that we can do here." So I'm supposed to solve their technical problem?

Don't ever finance your car through them. Total nightmare to say the least. The app isn't helpful unless you actually bank with TCU or have a branch close to you.

The locations are awful. The phone staff is laughably unhelpful. I wanted to pay my loan off early, and the lady I spoke with told me I couldn’t do that. When I asked her why, she just repeated herself. She then hung up on me. I’m never taking another loan out from Travis credit union again.

I've called many times asking for actions to my account which are never done as promised and no notes taken by call center staff. I've asked twice to remove overdraft protection, which was not done. Travis has made hundreds off of us this way. And if payment is automatic or draft, they state it will still go thru and they will charge $29 each time. There is zero customer-retention and customer service is way below sub-par. They take and take and you don't get anything in return. Because of these deceptive practices, we are taking our business and future loans elsewhere.
