Carmen (lady at register) has a switch in customer service that is pleasant and talkative and friendly towards select individuals. The lady in front of me was helped with a loud friendly amount of energy and sent off with the same amount when she paid. When I approached i got no greeting just a question if I had a number and she wasn't saying much to me and rang me up. As I left she greeted the lady behind me with a burst of energy and friendly manner. She really should flip like that and be consistent because it does make a shopping experience a good one or a bad one.

Came in to get supplies. Was greeted by Julian. Always when he's there he greets me when I come him a few times a month. He helped me with paints because I paint figurines. Was looking for a certain color, and I didn't see it. He suggested I use an alternative that seemed to work out just as good. The few times I been to this store and asked for help the females are always rude and seem they don't want to be there. Last time I was there, I was looking for brushes and asked one of the females that were there. Had a snappy response "there over there" pointing in the general direction before walking off to do something else ignoring me.

I just had the most amazing customer service experience from Scott. He showed me how to use the online coupons and gave me ideas on how to save on purchases. All this without me even asking for help. I appreciated his help.

Yes, this store is 1/4 the size of the Clovis CA Joann's where I used to live so I expect not to have as much fabric. However, in the several months I have lived here, i'm surprised at how well stock their cotton fabric is! I'm a quilter so I appreciate it. Today, the asst manager cut my big stack of fabric and helped me get the most deals I could! I really appreciate that! He helped me last visit too. I make lap quilts for church members convalescing. i appreciate the asst. managers help!

Haven't been to the Woodland store in a couple of years but we meandered in for a recon to see if they had different fabrics and walked out just a little lighter in the wallet. The staff were all warm and welcoming and helpful. The fabrics are neatly stocked and accessible. I only downgraded because it's a little light on the trims and findings but for fabric, this is the best place without having to drive to the city. We're coming back next week with a list.
