October 2023Garden SectionI wish there was a way I could give this place 3.5 stars. It's not quite a four, but it's not quite a three either.Service:Not bad, but could be better. It was so hard trying to find someone to help me in the garden section. There's a cashier at the front that cannot leave her station. But she was really cool helping me do some price checks on some items that I guess had gotten mixed up on the shelves. If you're on a mission, and you know what you're looking for, then someone will point you in the right direction eventually. But if you're looking to sit down with someone for a minute, and discuss what your project is and what your needs are, good luck. You'll never get that kind of service at this home Depot. There are 3 things that I would definitely buy here. One of them is a super durable resin pot that's at least a quarter of an inch thick, and measures somewhere around 11 inches wide by about 11 inches tall. This is a great planter to put anywhere you'd like, and that has a nice elegant look to it. It was around $30. You spend a little more money, but you're going to get something that's thicker and more durable than just the cheap flimsy plastic pots that are really thin.Lowe's has similar pots for around $14. Point being, if you have the time to shop around, do your due diligence to look for those bargains. If you're in a crunch though, just know that there are some items here at Home Depot that are worth it.The second item I would buy here is the wood pot Movers. They're a good price at about 20 bucks. They'll probably last you a good couple years. If you're willing to make the drive, and spend a few more dollars though, Lowe's has similar pop movers that are made out of cast iron, with better wheels. These ones I'm talking about at Lowe's are $25. So spend a little more, get a little bit of quality I say.Third item: The wood trellis at $16 isn't bad. A little thin on the material, not sure how long it would last. But definitely a good, fair deal.Green Thumb further north for instance had a similar trellis in height, double the thickness of the material for just over $35. So the individual slats of wood were twice as thick, and the Staples used to attach them all seem like they were more heavy duty.Overall, if you're in a pinch, and need to purchase very specific items, Home Depot can be a good choice. Honestly though, I'd suggest go to home depot, take note of their inventory and prices, then go up to Lowe's and see what you can find there.

Home Depot should be renamed Hey-Ho No Go, Bro! Dealing with your payments and credit is like landing on a distant, crazy planet where long conversations on the phone lead to promises that remain unkept and there simply is no record of your previous (many) hour-long calls with them because they have a convenient policy of not providing a reference number like most grown ups do, to check in case of any future problems, of which there are many, endlessly, always promised to be fixed but never fixed and always yours to somehow discover, haphazardly, or I'm sure their fingers are crossed, you'll just never ever catch them out! On today's show I discover (only by the fact I called up to chase them up) that I was charged a $38 late fee even though the late payment was the result of their terrible work ethics, not correctly setting up the auto-pay system (though absolutely promising it was) - and I'm told, asking why only now I'm being told about the late fee and it's being paid back, that unless I call them up they don't have the authority to pay me back. Only because I chased them up was it that I discovered JUST IN TIME they messed up, another two days would have had their error negatively impacting my credit score. What? Huh? Sorry, my spacecraft is fueling up, I don't have time for this crap. So beware folks, you may have been charged fees and Home Depot does not have established as its work policy anything resembling moral ethics, so they can do whatever the hell they like and pronounce you at fault when they are and charge you for it, and not give you the money back until one day, weirdly, you make a call to ask them the exact question that they need to answer to admit they did something wrong, charged you for it, and only now that you caught them out are they gonna have to fess up and pay you back.I can't even find the manual for this planet to find the words to describe this brand of super-low behavior. On my planet none of the words are publishable.

I was at this Store, trying to get deep root watering stick that you hook up with garden hose, and they had only the drip one selling for a penny, well I guess I could convert to drip watering so when I tried to get 65 pieces she said she could sell them for $2.50 to me after the Home Depot system had them on clearance, hope you don't get Crystal the Manager on duty, I was told it's a glitch in the system even though the West Hills location told me that's the price. She then took all the pieces off the floor to not be sold for the clearance price. Not very skilled at customer service or to make a call to her upper supervisor, thinking on water conservation that seemed to be last on her mind that's a bummer probably should name that store Crystals Hardware , what kind of mark up is that a penny to $2.50 cents 249% mark up give her a raise, but loose a customer,

I have been using this home depot for 20 years. In the last few years I have been helped by Tim in the paint department. He is helpful in a very knowledgeable way. He understands customer service and he is present when he talks to you. I consider him an expert and know that I can count on what he is telling me to be true. He is courteous and friendly and works extremely hard. The other employees do not even acknowledge me standing there for five minutes. They look past me and I get answers like "I don't know I never tried it". Instead of "let me find out for you." Thank you Tim for being a true professional. Parking is easy. Selection is usually good. Sometimes I have to order on line. But Tim's service is exceptional.

James in plumbing is fantastic. I had a few issues and James was able to give me pro level advice and got me the parts to solve my problems.

I rented an air compressor online at the Woodland Hills Home Depot, they did not have the compressor that was shown and advertised online, instead they had a compressor that was a piece of garbage and I could probably pass gas, better than this compressor would blow air. I had also put down $100 deposit for the one that was pictured on line, which since it was a weekend I didn't see that deposit until Tuesday, which really blew. I recommend that they should at least have the products they advertise online in the store. Highly disappointed and my project still has yet to be completed.

We spent $16,000 on a kitchen remodel and they did a terrible job. The Cambria quartz chipped and broke off within the first year. The sales rep promised he would come check the job site regularly never did. And they couldn't even cock the backsplash properly. They forced us to use 3 different plumbers as each one couldn't do the job. Their customer service section was trash. All construction is a head ache but they sold us on being the best without any headache. Not the case Home Depot. I'm going to Lowe's for my future projects.

Great price for a good sized truck. Have to return every night by 9pm but the price makes it worth it and unlimited miles that's the best part.

I was looking to buy some light switch steel and plastic cover plates but was looking for awhile until I found them in two separate aisles. They had a good assortment and a few different types in stock. Then came the check out line which they only had one cashier and the self check out long line. It's Saturday when most customers are out and about shopping but no cashiers available for all the customers.

I'm using out the one in the column B road but while I was here on this visit and I come here a few times a week this lady that seems like she's all over the store or seems to talk down to people and it's really rude. I was late for work standing alone patiently and this lady brought people up in front of me without even asking and justhing and just wave your hand at me like whatever ever you don't treat your customers like that she was really rude Her name is Maxine and she needs an attitude adjustment because you don't need to talk to your customers the way you do

I have been trying to reach ANYBODY from customer's support for an hour - Rings forever and when you can hear the store background noises, it hangs up on you. I received an email telling me that part of my order was ready for pick up on Saturday 15th of October with the mention : to be picked up before Friday 14th... I have no signs of my money back either... The Home Depot: "Always Disappointing" should be their motto.

Went in for some wood, was told the price in the back but was charged with a complete different price. Worst assistance I've seen at a Home Depot
