Over the years, I have worked with the number of different flooring contractors, and I must say that mike pillar & sons is the best of them all. I purchased a large quantity of engineered wood, and it is absolutely beautiful. I receive compliments every time I have guests at the house. I was so pleased with the final product that I had mike pillar & sons refinish and stain my hardwood staircase to match the engineered wood floors. Another contractor told me it could not be done, but I trusted Mike Pillar and sons and they did a masterful job. The work was clean, the workers were very professional, and most importantly, the final product is absolutely beautiful. They were successful in matching the hardwood with the engineered wood. We couldn't be happier and we would definitely use them again.

This is the second time in 20 years we have done our hardwoods with Mike Pillar. The team went above my expectations. Moving my furniture to the garage, covering in plastic, showing us stains and mixes to compare. Very detail oriented and great craft. End result was beautiful. People are Friendly and hard working. We have used them on three separate projects. Their selection of flooring is huge, and they are prompt and reliable when they commit to a start date. Their workers are diligent and tidy up each day. We would not think of going anywhere else.

I cannot speak highly enough of Mike Pilar and his entire team. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Our floors were everything we could have hoped for, and they made the process as seamless as possible. Their install team was incredibly professional, and you could tell they took pride in their work, and it shows in the finished product. Seriously, they are rock stars.

Being in the real estate business for 40+ years I have come across many flooring companies. These guys are the best! The first thing everyone comments on when they come over are my floors. Mike Pillar and Sons installed them 12 years ago and I never had a chance to give them the accolades they deserved but constantly refer them to others. Fast forward to a need for a repair due to a water leak and they broke out my file, hand sanded down the area and matched it perfectly. They are truly artist and take a great deal of pride in their work. Plus they showed up every time exactly when they said they would. If you want the best in hardwood flooring don't even think about calling anyone else.

Just purchased my first home and needed new flooring. Driving down Ventura Blvd I sawMike Pillar and sons hardwood flooring and decided to walk into their show room and take a look. That was the best decision I had ever made. I told Wendy Pillar was what i was looking for and she was so patient and helpful from start to finish. Michael came out and measured my home gave me a great estimate and ideas which led to me putting hardwood flooring through out my entire home. From there they ordered my flooring and it was delivered to my home, the guys were there every day on time working quickly, diligently, professionally and clean! Mike was there everyday as well checking in making sure that everything was going smoothly , which it was. Great family owned business , great business ethic, quality work and professionalism! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Mike Pillar and Sons just finished installing some flooring for us in an area where we had carpet. They were able to find the exact wood that we needed to match to our existing wood and did a seamless job. They were in and out in 1 day and everything went smoothly. We are a repeat customer and we couldn't be happier with our new Boen hardwood floors! The floor looks absolutely stunning and Mike's crew did a fantastic job installing them. There are very few business left that are ethical, courteous, professional and honest, and Mike Pillar is one of them. They're not looking to make a quick profit off your project, but truly care that they deliver value for the customer. I'm very picky about service providers and have high expectations on quality of work, and Mike Pillar not only meets but exceeds my expectations!

I highly recommend Mike Pillar And Sons hard wood flooring store. I had been to all of the big box stores and didn't want their generic run of the mill wood floors..... so I just went into MP&S to have a look around. They had a great selection of flooring hardwood and beautiful engineered wood (which I got). Their prices were very reasonable. Wendy was extremely knowledgeable, patient and helpful . She showed me a ton of samples and explained the differences between them. After I made my decision, she walked me through the entire process and gave me great resources as well. What a pleasure to give my business to an independent store and not to a chain!! Mike Pillar And Sons has been around for 40 plus years so I got great advice!! I highly recommend this store and the family that runs it!

We recently had floors installed. The workers did an exceptional job. They were friendly and respectful. The workers were definitely Covid safe. I would definitely recommend Mike Pillar and staff!
