My journey to hair nirvana was no easy feat. I mean, imagine trying to find a needle in a haystack while blindfolded and riding a unicycle – that's pretty much what it felt like searching for the perfect barber. But then fate intervened, and one fateful day, I waltzed into Floyd's Barber Shop like a lost sheep in need of shearing, only to be greeted by none other than Taylor, the hair whisperer extraordinaire. Now, let's talk about Taylor's skills. Calling them a barber would be like calling Michelangelo a doodler – it just doesn't do them justice. Taylor is more than just a master of the clippers; they're a sculptor, a perfectionist, a hair virtuoso on a mission to turn even the most stubborn strands into works of art. And trust me, my hair is about as stubborn as a mule with a migraine, but Taylor tames it with the finesse of a lion tamer – and a healthy dose of humor to boot. But here's the real kicker: after finally finding Taylor and experiencing the sheer bliss of a perfect haircut, I had to up and move to the valley. Cue the dramatic music and the waterworks, because my hair was in crisis once again. But lo and behold, fate works in mysterious ways, because wouldn't you know it, Taylor decided to set up shop at the Floyd's right by my new house. Talk about a hair-raising coincidence! In conclusion, if you're on the hunt for a barber who's equal parts skilled, hilarious, and capable of working miracles on even the most challenging of manes, look no further than Taylor. Trust me, your hair will thank you, and you'll walk out of that salon feeling like a million bucks – or at least like you didn't just go twelve rounds with a tumbleweed. Hats off to you, Taylor – you're a cut above the rest!

Ive been using Floyds for 12yrs. I was just turned down service because the barber said she doesn't do men's cuts. Booking online is so frustrating. I'm not sure if I ever want to use Floyd's again.

I can always count on Floyd's to give me a great cut. Polo cut my hair the last two visits and he is an artist when it comes to cutting hair. He listened to what I wanted and gave me a cut I'm still getting compliments on today.

Exceptional service at this barber shop! The attention to detail is unmatched, and the barber, Art, is not only skilled but also friendly. The ambiance is inviting, and he consistently delivers perfect haircuts. I wouldn't go anywhere else – a solid 10 out of 10!

Terrible. It's basically like supercuts. Took my 14 year old son, asked for a 'low #2 fade'. Apparently he didn't understand what 'low' means. He did a super high fade and then gave me attitude when i asked him why he went so high. Never again.

This place lost me as a customer for life due to James. The worst barber I have ever had. I was a regular of Floyds for years. I see that the manager responds to these so feel free to look me up and see how often I would go. Years. Let me tell you why I will never be back and at the same time share the most traumatic hair cut experience of my life.I was about to leave for a vacation and walked in to Floyds for a quick cut like I have always done. The barber was James (bald asian guy with a lot of tattoos). I explained what I wanted similar to how I have always done it. I am pretty easy going with my hair. I don't need much. He spent about 5-10 mins on my hair (go watch the cameras) and then said "what do you think". It was horrible. I wont get into detail but it was bad. He didn't even touch the top of my hair, never spritzed water on my head, just shaved up way too high on one said and then called it a day.I looked at it and said "I am not really feeling this" and this is where the drama began. Instead of saying "ok, lets fix it" he said basically "this is what you wanted". I proceeded to explain that maybe I used the wrong words cause he kept explaining to me that I don't know what a fade is. He then pointed to another customer and said that is what you should have asked for and then said that would look better on you. At this point I am embarrassed as all hell. I'm sitting in this dudes chair with a butchered hair cut just wanting to get it to a place where I like it and he is being all defensive and calling me out in front of everyone. He tried to "fix it" which involved spending another minute cutting somewhat aimlessly and made it even worse. I then brush my hair with my hands to style it the way I style it and he has the audacity to say "well yea, it looks bad if you style it like that"It's been about a minute or two of me just sitting in his chair now while I am processing what to do to fix my haircut and the only option I see is to basically just cut everything way down and lose all my length. Which is ok, its at least a fix. I look over to him (hes avoiding eye contact and brushing hair off his station) and I say "what do you think" and he says "I don't think anything!" in the most rude tone. I was shocked. Next he takes off my apron and points to the front desk girl and says "she's our customer support" and verbally nudges me off his chair. Mind you I still have a botched haircut and now everyone in the shop is looking at me. I was so embarrassed.I walked up to the front desk girl and I say "I think I am being kicked out" and she says "no, I am so sorry I will get another barber to fix this for you" and I was like "no way, I gotta get the hell out of here" and I just left. I ended up going to a strip mall goofy looking shop right next to my house that I never gave a shot cause I was afraid they would mess up my hair, but I liked the convenience of them being literally walking distance to my front door. I figured this would be a good chance to give them a try since I was just gonna go shave my head anyway. To my surprise they killed it (after spending 5 minutes just starting at my head from all angles like I was a science project gone wrong). So I guess the bright side is I learned that I live right next to a place that crushes hair cuts for $10 a cut less than Floyds. But in all seriousness, I cannot believe the way James acted. He took no interest in trying to fix the problem. He treated my rude almost immediately when I said I didn't like the cut and then went as far as to basically kick me out midway through the cut.I am sure the management has been looking for a reason to get this guy out of there. He has that kind of problematic attitude, so here ya go. Show him this review and let him know this is why he is being let go. You are welcome!

We first made an appointment for my son’s haircut, but the hair stylist who was going to cut my son’s hair wasn’t sure she could cut his hair the way he wanted it. So she looked for another stylist who could do it and we rescheduled for an hour later. Appreciate the honest and not just trying to make a sale. So kuddos to her (I didn’t get her name). And Roman who cut my son’s hair did an excellent job!! This was our first time there and definitely coming back!
