We purchased a Laminam porcelain product for an outdoor barbeque. Cynthia and everyone at FHD were very helpful, friendly andknowledgeable. Installation was quick and personal. They communicate and follow up to make sure everything goes smoothly. I couldn't ask for more and I love my new counter!

Great customer service from Cynthia from first call to get information to last call when she checked in to see if we had what we needed to finish the job. We were offered design assistance and honest feedback based on our choices which ultimately lead us to select tile we love for the floor and shower. The time spent helping us to select color & design and put it all together was offered with patience and without limitation. Everyone that helped us had a smile on their face

I learned a lot here. There is a difference in tiles. The color of some tiles goes all the way through the tile and some tiles only have the color on the surface. Tiles can chip over time so I purchased tile where the color goes all the way through and also that has a matte finish. If it should ever chip, it would be hardly noticeable. If the finish is gloss, even if the color should go all the way through, you'd see the difference in the finish since inside the tile would be matte. I just gave you an invaluable lesson. You're welcome. Oscar, who installed the tile was a master. His work is perfect. I could not have been any happier and I have recommended him to family and friends. I am very particular, so this is a high compliment coming from me. ;-)

We bought $1,000 of kitchen flooring tiles from this store. The tiles were much more expensive than Chinese made because we liked the US made tiles looked. Big mistake. The tiles (12x24) were seriously bowed. These tiles are made by Datile in Texas and the model is CC10. Unfortunately the tiler installed the tiles before telling us how bad it was. The result is that the floor is very uneven and the thin grouts look terrible.

I had a 5-star review of Factor Surfaces up here for some time because the guy they sent out to my house (two houses on two separate occasion) to install this textured MDF wall was kick-ass. But after several attempts to deal with Factor Surfaces since them on other issues (shower tile and countertops), I realize that the only awesome thing about them is this very gifted, very specialized installer who only does textured MDF walls and doesn't even work for them. The actual staff of Factor Surfaces is less than helpful and FAR less than responsive, requiring constant followup and reminders. It's like impossible to get a price out of them. Then you call up and ask if they've got the price for you. Then they tell you they don't have the information, and you need yo re-supply it. Then repeat. This has happened multiple times. Doesn't matter whether it's Gregory, the dad, or his son. Similar inattentiveness to detail and lack of caring about customers' needs. Sad, really. The selection is amazing, but who has the time to chase these clowns.
